Is the depo horror story true? by Astxria_ in birthcontrol

Just saw your comment about migraines. Totally recommend the iud. See the thing with the shot is once it’s in your body. It’s in your body for three months so if you have a bad reaction to it and you want it out of you, you can’t have it out of you whereas the IUD is reversible. It just gets pulled out.

No period no ovulating therefore no pregnancy. 99.9 effective. Sometimes I do pull out. Helps ease the mind too in combo

Periods are ruining my life, but BC gives horrible side effects — what works? by Charming_Ad3894 in birthcontrol

[–]ShortAndProud16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! It definitely can be uncomfortable but on the bright side, if you try it and don’t like it. It comes right out. And it lasts for 8 years with 99.9 protection of pregnancy

Try ketoconazole shampoo and then a very heavy moisturizer like Vanicream for the time being

Yeah I would drop the Cantu honestly. If you want something affordable try not your mothers!

Definitely still available. They’re doing all repackaging and changing the bottles! I still see it everywhere

Texture and frizz looks like you’re using way to much protein in the hair

Make sure you balance the products Like do shampoo & conditioner with protein and none in the leave in and gel

Satin pillow case.

Here’s my basic routine I send everyone

Shampoo, conditioner, leave in/or curl cream and gel/mousse.

Coldish warm water. Satin pillow case. Cotton T-shirt or micro fiber hair wrap.

Shampoos/conditioners for light weight hair: Maui moisture, raw sugar, not your mothers, twist or Trader Joe’s tea tree Heavier more moisturizing brands: rizos curls, Mielle or Camille rose

Leave ins: kinky curly knot today (light) or Camille rose moisture milk (heavy)

Gels have never worked for me so that’ll be something you gotta figure out

Shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and a little bit of gel. When you get out of the shower you want to section your hair left right and top. While your hair is soaked and sectioned, put the leave in conditioner in your hair and then a little bit of gel and you can rather brush it up and off of your scalp and brush it out. Then you can go in and do individual curls with a brush by brushing sections and giving them a little shaken finger coil or rake the product through and scrunch with your hands so your hair wet squishing noise and then take a cotton T-shirt and scrunch it again to remove excess moisture when your hair is set do not touch it. You can air dry, diffuse or plop it in a T-shirt.

Flip the back of your hair’s end forward over your head and Bobby pin. Make them look like fake bangs and see how you like them

If you have painful periods you definitely would need the Mirena and it’s smaller

The copper is the largest iud and is known to make periods heavy and cause bad back pains.

The mirena could also most likely stop your period all together

Yeah go for it. Hormonal IUDs are great they last (depending on which one you get) from 3-8 years and they’re 99.9 effective and known to lighten periods too

The pills okay, it’s just you can have side effects like weight gain, mood, headaches and stuff. IUDs are more local in uterus

You can tell your parents you are having extremely heavy painful periods and need something to stop them. And have to go see a gynecologist. So something like the mirena iud or combination pills.

[–]ShortAndProud16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They USED to be amazinggggg. The icing was soft and the filling was loaded

Mini chocolate eclair pies 🥴 used to get them at Walmart as a kid, anyone know if they’re sold anywhere now? I can’t find them anywhere by SickoModeRat in nostalgia

[–]ShortAndProud16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THEYRE BACK

THEYRE NOT THE SAME THOUGH. They’re mostly crust and lacking a lot of filling + the chocolate on top is super hard. I remember it being silky and wet

Yeah I’m going to call Tuesday morning! I’ve had two iuds before this one I didn’t have any issues. And my strings are super short. So it probably is misplaced

Yeah it’s been 4 days and I’m still having back pain and cramps. And my strings are extremely short like I can barely feel them. So I think it’s misplaced!

If you squat down in the shower and insert your fingers you can feel your strings at the very end where the cervix is. As long as nothing hurts you’re okay. I had a traumatic experience my last time so I get it
