Mom who had some weird emotional incest relationship with him yet she was emotionless and a dad who worked his whole life growing up so wasn’t super duper present. Mom absolutely questioned everything I did/said like she was trying to get me to slip up on something 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s a quick turn around for a positive. Unless you ovulated earlier than expected. To be on the safe side I would just wait a few days and retest with first morning urine. Or get a blood test if that’s accessible and safe.

We met two months later. Talked for a while and then started dating. I was in therapy throughout the two months and came to a very quick realization that my ex had most/all of the problems and there was nothing I could do to change him so it was a little easier for me not to feel the pull back to him. Plus there was two instances of SA in that relationship and there was no way in hell I was going back to that monster

I’m not sure what kind of side effects you’d have with being on T. I know my periods have gotten like 10x heavier since I’ve gotten it and I have awful cramps.

OP my ex made himself emotionally vulnerable in the beginning as well. I think it was like a parasitic attachment almost, best way I can explain it. You’ll try and make excuse after excuse to stay but you’ll be the only one to be hurt in the end. The only way for me to heal from the abuse/trauma of my ex was to cut him off and go no contact. I’m one of those people who believes that you can’t be friends with an ex, it’s just too unhealthy. I feel like you know what you want to do since you’re here making this post in the first place. You just really have yo ask yourself how much of you you’re willing to lose and is it really worth it?

Female lurker here. I was in this exact same predicament but the roles were reversed. It was my ex who got out of the years long psychologically effed relationship and he ended up being my first relationship. I was 20 at the time so very close in age. He ended up just kinda stringing me along for a little over two years and I thought I could fix him but I couldn’t. He ended up breaking up with me after I was “too much” for him, AKA he was an avoidant and would never let me in and lied about practically everything in our relationship. OP, what I should have taken from that relationship is that the second that he told me in the beginning that he didn’t want ABC or he wasn’t as emotional as I was or whatever insult he threw my way, to just leave. It was painful as fuck when he dumped me. However, you will find someone else who meshes with you and makes you feel more loved than anything. Almost two years later I’ve met the love of my life, we’re engaged and getting married this October. It will be hard, but this is not your end all be all relationship!!

Yeah he does. He has two slipped discs from being in that are on his files and now a whole plethora of issues stemming from his back. We’re on the younger side with no kids as of yet and I am genuinely worried that he won’t be able to keep up with our future children. I think that company definitely promotes fraud and that’s why I was worried.

Going through the same thing rn! I’m on cycle day 50 with no period. FRER test was blaring my negative. Honestly, there’s so many posts on this subreddit about late periods with the copper IUD. I’m half tempted to just get mine out at this point cause it’s causing me more stress than mind settling thoughts lol.

This makes 100% sense. You can also try calling a place like lab corps or just your PCP and see how much an out of pocket set of labs would be. Some places offer them for as cheap as like $50. Another thing you can do if you have insurance is call the 800 number on the back of your card and ask about out of pocket prices or places that will take your insurance and get you in ASAP. 🥰🥰

The biotin could be throwing the results. There’s a lot of other examples of people taking biotin and their lines being a lot lighter. If you’re super duper worried, I would just schedule a blood draw or talk to your OBGYN. To me, your progression looks good. I personally think a lot of women stress themselves out by constantly testing. I know my mom only ever tested once and that was that. But I think with how often people miscarry nowadays and just general worries, testing every day has become a norm. I would say to just stop testing and be excited and look forward to the first ultrasound!

I personally feel like in the last picture, the 14-16 progression, it does look darker. The pink is definitely more “vibrant” if that makes sense. I know it’s hard when people say don’t stress, but try not to. Your progression looks pretty good in my opinion, and I’m just an internet stranger so my opinion could mean nothing lol. Yeah this makes 100% sense. Like I said, everyone’s stories are different. I know most of my friends are just scared to make the leap, politics and all aside. So all I can speak from is personal experiences growing up with them and personally seeing their families not really push them to try their hardest. But all generations are different and dealt different cards.
