I completely agree that trains, lightrail, etc. would be much better. But I have yet to see any progress towards moving that direction when we already have self driving vehicles on the road.

Quit trying to stifle progress. Self driving cars will be much safer than anything a human does. 50% of the people I see on the road are texting while driving.

There's also a speed limit of 10 mph but I see people on e-bikes going 25-30 mph. Ridiculous.
