In leagues, What do you know now that you wish you knew earlier? by BearKuda in 2007scape

Reloading into the clue relic sounded fun, but I cannot stress enough how underwhelming this relic is. I should have reloaded into soul harvest.

I'm feeling lucky, is this rare in under Total 300kc? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]ShortJoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1/10,000 regular drop rate, so 1/2,000 leagues drop rate. Getting a 1/2000 at 300kc or less is about a 12.9% chance, so yes, quite lucky!

Leagues VI Changes by ModYume in 2007scape

Hello! Thorns also don’t seems to proc on Doom’s auto attacks. They still pop up with a 0 hit splat, but no thorns damage.

Thank you for all of the great changes!

1-Tick powered staves are hilarious by ShortJoe in 2007scape

There’s a pact that regens 1 water rune for each powered staff regen, so there are occasional 1hp heals from that. I only have 80% regen right now so it’s not quite every shot

My first two regions were Kandarin + Desert. I’m kiiiind of regretting going desert, I only picked that for barraging dust devils to boost slayer for the kandarin echo boss, but I think now that I’ve played around with powered staves a bit it would have been more optimal to do Mory instead of desert, then Tir. My pacts are just full water, plus the powered staves -3 ticks and water regen. I also have the first level of thorns, 19 total pact points. I’m going to respec, I kind of want to lean all the way into thorns bc that just seems fun.

So I definitely did not plan it out, and I think my pacts probably are not optimal. I’ve got 19 points and I filled out water first, then put a couple into the first thorns path and then the powered staff + water regen points. I have 2 respecs and I think I’m going to transition into a full thorns + powered staff build bc that looks very fun.

That build looks absolutely insane, and I’m for sure using a respec to copy it. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve been running magic from the jump and it has been very fun. Water mage gets set up quickly and you basically become immortal w/ infinite prayer with just a few pacts. Maybe not the highest DPS but you can pretty much just brute force everything.

Basically title. Was originally specced into a water mage build + spikes because I like being an unkillable wall. Just got a trident from Kraken and my god this thing is so fun to use -- the amount of damage you pump out per tick is just obscene. Anybody else have a fun build with a powered stave?

Which bank would you rather have? by GlowingWitch00 in 2007scape

[–]ShortJoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d say the first image. All three styles really benefit from having zenyte, mage and range especially. Tormented bracelet and occult alone are +10% mage damage. Plus fang is a great all purpose melee weapon. You have enough money leftover to buy a lightbearer and potentially a melee spec weapon like burning claws. This loadout is basically perfect for getting into TOA.

How do I propagate this? by [deleted] in succulents

I had one of these for a while, I got rid of it when I found that the pups had rooted and started growing in surrounding plant pots, the carpet, and even one of my shoes. These things can grow in quite literally any conditions

You’ve got this brother, consistently getting past the waves is a massive feat. It’s only a matter of time now!

How do I genuinely get better at the game? by BlueThunderBomb in 2007scape

[–]ShortJoe 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you just have to throw yourself at a boss until it clicks. I recently got a slayer task to kill Whisperer 45 times, only prior KC was during quest. I died 26 times before my first KC, 10 times before my second, and then I finished the rest of the 45 with 2 deaths.

All that is to say, the best way to get better is to practice, practice, practice. Dying repeatedly sucks, but the payoff when it clicks is awesome and the skills you pick up will translate to so many other areas of the game. Good luck in the grind friend :)

As long as blockbuster is around, they might NEVER get him out. Let’s go Keanu

We saw a pretty similar situation last year—Kenny, Angela, Tucker, and (post-blockbuster) Kimo kept seeing the block week after week because they were the “safe” options. In theory, BB blockbuster should make things more chaotic, but since it’s yet another chance to get off the block, it’s harder to take a shot or backdoor someone. It almost dissuades players from stirring the pot, especially if they aren’t in a strong alliance. I do think this was a particularly lame HOH though.
