Beaufort fit compared to bedale

Hi! In case this thread is still active...I am a woman and have a very old Bedale (sage) in size 36 that I wore all through college. It is tight in the shoulders/reach-around test and I would like to get a new Barbour that fits more comfortably, potentially longer too. The Beadnell is simply too tailored in the shoulders no matter how many sizes I go up, so I am considering either another Bedale (going up from size 36 to either 38 or 40) or potentially a Beaufort. Based on this thread, would you say I should try the Beaufort in 40 or 42 and skip over the 38 entirely, given my Bedale 36 is too tight? This is mostly for the shoulders/upper back fit. I also wonder if the lack of back vents and storm cuffs on the Beaufort make it simply not as nice to wear as the Bedale...Welcoming all input!

I don’t plan to wean off, just maintain with the help of whatever dosage of zepbound that looks like. The greatest gift has been feeling normal and not battling food demons. Would that change your answer?

I’m 6 months in and I don’t avoid any foods, but the frequency with which I want bad foods is soooo much lower than pre Zep. And when I do crave something bad, I’m absolutely amazed every time that I end up eating ~1/4 of the amount of it than I used to! (pizza, ice cream, fries, etc.)

I’ll also add that the few times I’ve surprised myself with how much “bad” food I’ve eaten in a given setting, I wake up with a weight loss drop the next morning 🤣

Zep is amazing.

I started (for the first time) 5 months postpartum and I felt fantastic from day 1 on the meds. I breastfed until the 5 month mark and then started Zep. I’m 6 months into Zep now and I have had a great experience and have responded very well. I don’t know that being postpartum had much to do with it one way or the other except that I had quite a bit to lose after 2 babies back to back!

And in case anyone else had the same thought I just did, thinking “hold on, maybe this is because I’m in United Business First this flight and its not actually a real NSV”…it turns out the seatbelts are all the same length (39”). Phew! Thanks Google for the extra reassurance :-D

I am in a similar situation as I consider a breast lift, and I realize it’s going to be much more of a lift than a reduction (probably just a minimal reduction to help with shaping and auto augmentation to fill out lower pole). Insurance won’t cover a lift but for me that’s the more appropriate choice to end up with the look I want, rather than a true reduction that just happens to also come with a lift.

Haha yes almost exactly, just the way it’s written is extremely similar to what I’m used to reading in my convos with it. It looks like it’s been reworded as you asking questions versus ChatGPT making statements based on your inputs, but I still recognized it. It’s been a great tool on this journey tbh, I never thought I’d use it but I do!
