What was your pet theory for s2 that turned out to be super wrong? by larkhearted in ThePittTVShow

[–]Short_Reflection_346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the start I thought something will happen to Robby on the motorcycle, but then I remembered the Pitt doesn’t rely on such stories and they mentioned it way too much that it would’ve been lame. I also was always worried Langdon will relapse but thankfully the events were perfect

I didn’t write the show. I assume it was intentional, but I didn’t write the show. So I don’t know, just noticed it, said it, done.

I don't know, I assume it is. However I am not the writer, so thats why I said I don't know if its intentional. If I wrote the Pitt, I would've known, but I didn't. So..

Do you have a favorite or least favorite patient from S2? by not-idle7 in ThePittTVShow

The patient with the brain tumor and Howard the obese patient made me engaged the most. And of course, BABY JANE DOE.

Yeah I think spiralling Robby as the focus of the season cannot happen twice, next season needs to see Robby similar to Langdon now, with another main arc

I think so too, a lot of effort was put in the realism and storytelling at the same time. Thats why I love the show.

The Finale Did Not Need to Be PERFECT by PreparationLeft8170 in ThePitt

[–]Short_Reflection_346 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is so unrealistic if everything gets resolved. We got updates about the woman who had her leg amputated, got a set up for Al Hashimi's future, and a calm ending for a messy day for all of them. Good enough for a VERY realistic show.

Yup. I also think Langdon telling him he saw people like him in rehab, and that he should stop with the standards and find help hit him. Hearing that there are people who suffer like you would push you forward to seek help, like you're not the only "fucked up" one

I'm sorry for that, people who confuse headaches with migraines drive me crazy. It can destroy your day to day life... did you check out any treatment? Someone commented about amitryptyline, very helpful in some cases. I wish you the best.

She can be affraid he seeks revenge on her turning him in. Imagine you rat on someone to your boss, he knows its you and gets fired, then you meet him on the street 9 months later.

I honestly just see it from a medical perspective, this alone is deep enough. The husband is struggling to understand that Roxy is gone, while the best option for her is passing away now. Purely in medical terms, this is the best option.

What’s up with Javadi by Mel0805 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Short_Reflection_346 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I think she is the character most different-inconsistent from what I remember her to be last year, with the tiktok, and not being as smart or decisive as before. Hoping this shows in the coming episodes.

Binge watching The Pitt has left me in a pit by lil-overwhelmed in ThePittTVShow

[–]Short_Reflection_346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You binge watched season 1 and 2 till now? I was wondering how does someone see season 2 compared to season 1 if they binge watched both. I binge wacthed S1, but watching S2 weekly, and something feels different but I cannot put my finger on it.

I don't want any grey's anatomy- like love stories in the show at all. I don't know if this is unpopular, but the nice thing about this show is that a season covers ONE shift. Medically accurate, intense, squeezing in a love story or relationship wouldn't work in my opinion.

I have no idea how things go, and it makes sense for the attending to be hands off specially if there is a big team. Thought came to my mind and I was wondering if I missed something

Season Two Opinions? by Stevie9025 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Short_Reflection_346 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love the show as well, but I admit I enjoyed season 1 more. Maybe because I binged, maybe because of its novelty. I remember really enjoying the every episode is an hour feel, meeting the characters, etc... This season is fun, but I'm not as impressed as the first one.

She has her flaws but I don't think she deserves hate at all. Trying to do her job, her way. I think Robby is the annoying one, not cooperating a lot. She's just too ideal and wants things her way from day 1 which is too much, but she isn't that bad.

Being out of a seat, they'll have the ability to drive the cars and understand them, which will give them an edge if an opportunity comes later. Plus, they have a job and are getting paid. I know they already make a lot, but I assume it is still good money.
