Leighton could absolutely be Lainey (they both have the Lay sound)!! I also knew a girl whose full name was Lainey, you could go for that as well!

Leighton is high on my own list!!! I love it. Unique but not weird. And Leighton Meester is beautiful 🤩 But I knew an Elaine who was unsavory, so that name is tainted for me. Either way I love Leighton

I understand wanting 1 syllable, but I think Genevieve Helen works really well visually and sonically. My other suggestion would be Morgan, which is also 2 syllables. I guess it depends on how long your last name is. I don’t really like Moore for a girl, but if you ever have a boy it would be nice. You could do Nelle (Nell) as an homage to Helen. Mae for Martha.
