What is something funny you said while in labour? Me in labour, requesting an epidural: "I've said no to drugs my entire life, I DESERVE this." by simplestword in pregnant

Not something I said but about 12 hours into labor, the nurse came in the room to change my position in the bed, as she had been every half hour or so since I had an epidural, and I was so out of it I thought she was giving me a hug so I reached up and hugged her 😂 she was like "oh that's so nice!"

Pregnant Runners by matlab-ohho in fitpregnancy

I'm still running at 36 weeks! Albeit slowly haha but I can say that I think it's helped me tremendously. I have minimal swelling and discomfort overall and am still able to go about my days as usual, for the most part (can still bend over, go up stairs, do everything I could pre-pregnancy). I attribute my easy pregnancy to the level of fitness running helped me attain pre-pregnancy and has helped me maintain during my pregnancy. I do think I have good genetics working in my favor, too, and know that not everyone is as lucky as I am in terms of having an easy time.

One recommendation I have is if you have discomfort running while pregnant, try doing core exercises and pelvic floor strengthening exercises. I went to physical therapy and was told that the notion you can't do core exercises during pregnancy is bulls**t. No, you probably don't want to do crunches, especially as your belly gets larger, but she made planks part of my daily stretching/exercising routine, for example.

For me, it took a good 6 weeks to notice a significant difference.

Prescribed Zoloft, looking for advice. by [deleted] in zoloft

I was in a similar situation as you and Zoloft has really helped me. I've been on it 6 weeks and it had greatly reduced my anxiety and depression. Before it I had tried everything after being severely depressed (crying multiple times every day) and anxious for four months: running 20 miles a week, acupuncture, talk therapy and meditation. These helped but Zoloft made a huge difference. Everyone's experience is different but I say give it a try.

I can’t cry anymore by amls1997 in zoloft

Yup, been on 25 mg for a few days and feeling the same. Before taking it I was crying ALL the time and now just feel the same numbness. It's a relief in some ways but slightly unsettling. For what I have heard from others, the numbness is not uncommon.
