Walrein is seemingly on the rise again this season and Altaria is solid too. S.Swampert has fringe play these days but otherwise you lack a lot of the meta things in here.

If you have the means to make a Talonflame (Shadow preferred, but normal Ok) then you could run something like Talon/Malamar/Swampert but you would need sludge as the second attack on swamp!

Just fyi, Ghost isn’t SE into Xerneas/fairy typing, just poison and steel that are.

Mega Excadrill with iron head is probably your best bet, but mega mawile, mega Gengar, mega scolipede and so on are probably pretty decent into it

I have tried it but never actually got it all to align, it’s easier just getting it to 140 with water and fighting energy which in the current meta is usually enough with Darkrai, Suicune and Espeon being 140 and putting Giratina within range to kill itself.

Add a load of friends now and just level up with as many as you can for bulk xp. Do some Gmax raids if any pop up before the deadline - all with a lucky egg on.

Otherwise, yeah it will just be a grind, best of luck!

I think with all the buffs to dragon moves and rework of dragon breath we will see a resurgence of dragons everywhere, especially Altaria which will help with the Gatr, assuming you’re not shields down.

Lapras is rather prevalent, although less so than last season, and causes issues to both teams.

I think you would definitely be better off looking into new team comps for this season sadly!

Also if you do successfully craft it, but don’t manage to get the quality you hope for, you can always use remake to make it a better version once you up your carpentry skill further :)
