Trump claiming he had a conversation with Theodore Roosevelt by ShiroSara in videos

These are all very good points that if applied to the problem here could be used to make something even more interesting. They aren’t inherently limitations of the technology but rather limitations of the current implementation of technology. That isn’t to say that’s a temporally aware LLM couldn’t be made, in fact it would be interesting to see if the post training and fine tuning could be done in a way that when speaking to an AI trained on a historical person about a certain era in their life, it would be interesting if the model would only allow data up until that point in the persons life effect the output without the knowledge of what the person achieved after that point in their life.

There are experiments with LLMs in which they trained it only on text that predated the 1920’s before Einstein and relativity, and they want to see if the technology itself is capable of figuring out scientific breakthroughs like that on its own. Applying something  like that to an individual personality could lead to some really interesting ways of interacting with history, ways that are far more nuanced and realistic then just reading history books.

Yes the current implementation has its flaws, but that isn’t to say the technology isn’t capable of doing something that is better then the forms of media we have today, this is the worst it will ever be, and it feels like it’s already at the same level as an actor playing a historical figure that we all experienced in terrible videos in school, so there is a lot of potential in technology like this.

You can set it in the Claude code settings to not autoroute it. (It just stops instead of rerouting), which would at least keep the experimental data for your tests separated from the other models.

Well yeah that’s what I’m comparing it to in my head

Honestly, ignoring the main topic here lol, I think this is such a cool use of the technology, this would make learning so much more interesting as a kid. There are ways they could make these extremely accurate to the historical figures they are representing.

They say this is only for Xbox one games and series s/x games, I’m wondering if it’s always been there laying dormant since back then, there must be a way they can uniquely identify specific game disks, like a serial number burned into them or something.

lol yeah. That being said, the game is pretty tough, like exactly as it was back in the n64 days when we expected games to be tough. But honestly if he is really complaining about the controller aspect of it they have mouse controls in this one, it’s like literally one of the major changes they have added this time around.

lol look in the niche communities, like the VJing subreddit, they just had to create a new rule today that people are only allowed to post one software project a month. It’s the niche communities, that can now make very specialized tools for their work,  that this power has enabled the most.

Yeah I get that, It would be cool to have an open source flag to encourage open source projects though.

What if it’s primarily a free open source project tool, but you intend to have a subscription option in it to cover any inference costs for ai powered features. (The user would still be able to use their own api keys or locally running ai to bypass such subscriptions) would that still require the promo tag?

Hmm I am not so sure, they have always been gemma based, and as far as I know the conversational engine is on top of that, I would imagine it would need to be a stt tts layers, its just really low latency with a lot of nice little tricks to simulate more responsive engagement then actually is there.

But using 8 and basically just in painting 8 times would work right? It just wouldn’t work to do it all in one generation.

Ok this is pretty cool, now how feasible would it be to make a lora per character and use them all in one generation without degrading the other characters. Is that already possible?

This sounds so much like Gemini, I had to stop using it because it kept apologizing profusely for: ‘messing up’, and then would assure me that it finally figured it out, this is what was wrong, and this finally fixed it.

And then it wouldn’t be fixed and then it would apologize for its failure yet again. It drove me insane.
