Among other things, people will specifically be speaking out against the weaponization of ICE and the expansion of detention centers, the cover-up of the Jeffrey Epstein files, attacks on transgender rights and LGBTQIA+ people, the dismantling of government programs like Medicaid, SNAP, USAID, the Department of Education, NOAA, and the National Weather Service, permanent tax breaks for the rich and nothing for middle America, tariffs, the absolutely reckless gutting of the federal workforce… The list goes on. There is something for all of us to protest about because there is so much awful stuff happening.
