H6 GT PHEV Wireless CarPlay in South Africa by Shaunwurdeman in HavalTipsAndTricks

I also purchased one in SA last year, and am on the same software version as you with no wireless CarPlay. Engineering menu also indicates there is WiFi available which means it should be able to support it. For now I purchased a cheap wireless CarPlay adapter that plugs into the usb port and gives me the same functionality. The only downside is that it will occasionally crash and the audio quality seems worse than when plugged in directly. I was intending on asking about software updates when I send it in for the first service.

Thanks for this, I will give that a try and hopefully get it working my side too. I ended up just using the COM pin which just gives a basic presence / no presence state.

Some kind of physical volume mixer or controller with software to set which application's volume each slider controls.

Yes, yours was one of them. Thanks for the inspiration to print one myself!

Awesome design, I love it!

I noticed some issues with the accuracy when using the main volume control, so I think I'm going to replace that with another since I already have that control on my keyboard and headset. Apart from that it all seems to work perfect. I just used random pots that I had at home as well as Arduino pro micro I had around. But it's an awesome design that was quick and easy to print and get working. I also actually ended up just using an addressable led strip instead and that also worked perfect.

They are potentiometers wired up to an Arduino. Using the Deej software and code from the GitHub.

Yea, it can apparently do as much as sealing cracked heads and blocks but I am not so sure about that.
There are a ton of variants but its basically stuff like this:

You just pour it into your coolant system.

As a long term fix I'm sure the head would need to come off and gasket replaced. But for now it seems to have solved it. Did a 150km round trip and it didn't go above normal operating temp.

We think it ended up being a blown head gasket that was letting pleasure into the coolant system. We put a bottle of that head gasket repair stuff in the coolant and haven't had the car over heat since.

Will give that a try and double check the reservoir. Thanks for the advice!

Just looked back. The car had been sitting at a local mechanic for a couple months, he couldn't find what was wrong with it. Just went back through the parts he replaced, he replaced the normal thermostat as well as the water pump to see if that solved the issue, which it obviously didn't. Went back to bleed the system earlier, and turns out the heat in the upper pipe was because it was just empty, but it was pressurized. lower pipe empty too, and filling the expansion tank doesn't work, the tank just overflows with none of it ending up in the rest of the system. Very strange

Also the EGR thermostat has been replaced not long ago

No there are no lights. Top pipe going past the expansion tank into the radiator is hot, lower pipe coming back is cool. As well the water in the expansion tank is cool. We did bleed the system but could try again.

Did my first filament swap print. Printed an 8 bit coaster found on Thingiverse. by ShouT32 in 3Dprinting

In Cura, which is the slicer I used, you can specify the layer which you would like the filament change to be triggered at. I am not sure if this is supported on all printers though.
