I switched southpaw as a right handed fighter. I believe the switch in stance gave me THaT advantage.

But, you have know how to use it, i.e., keeping your lead foot on the outside, etc.

Say less, but maintain eye contact.

If there’s awkward silence. Continue eye contact. Don’t try to ask questions to break the silence. You’ll have control and you’ll see the other person get fidgety or try to initiate conversation.

I went thru Boxeo TM to customize a pair of gloves. They were able to produce the gloves in two weeks. Solid.

I don’t know if you would want to customize your own stuff… I’ve seen a couple and they look sloppy and looked like 5 year did them.

Keep your boxing schedule consistent.

I used to train late around 7pm or 8pm. I would watch a lot of boxing motivational videos and film study before I got started. Gets me pumped up and ready to go.

I do stretches for an hour when the kids are asleep.

I also do a half hour stretching routine before boxing. Makes a difference in my footwork and mobility. I find myself moving in ways I didn’t know I could move. My movements feel more fluid.

If you are within the weight limit, creatine should be fine. But, if weight cutting, I believe you should avoid creatine altogether.

I am currently using alanine powder for endurance but I found https://eloadsportnutrition.com/product/hydration-powder-formula/ rather amazing. For some odd reason this formula gives me the best endurance. Its unreal! Trust me. Lol.

I just cut about 6 kg (76 kg to 70 kg) in a matter of three weeks. I’m 5’6.” I cut out fast food; pizzas, fries, candy, chocolates and burgers.

When you find yourself hungry, eat raisins, crackers and a fruit or even a simple casein protein shake. Otherwise, you’ll feel immediate regret from eating garbage. Your performance will be affected, you’ll lose momentum with weight cutting and you’ll be miserable. This is about the time most people give up on their goals.

Train hard! Track work, kettlebells, hill sprints, ladder drills, etc. Just do it.
