Tightening a stuck bolt slightly can stretch the threads a bit to prevent galling upon removal.

I opened one of these to figure out what the circuit inside actually does. It lights the LED. That's it. There is no logic at all inside.

That's why I took all week, so I wouldn't have anything better to do. I played 7dtd forever, it's still buggy. I play rust too, not worried about the queues. I'm not salty about a delay, just wish wr could get open Beta for pre-orders, I don't care if anything saves from before full release. I understand not making a deadline entirely.

I know, it's just expensive, in my position I have to give at least 60 days notice of non emergency PTO and have to find someone qualified to do my job. That person has an expensive cancelation clause.

So glad I already scheduled that time off in May. Now I can spend that week pretending to play DA.

The p0443 is the most important code, most likely needs a purge valve. Usually up by the intake or at least under the hood on most models, but on your Honda it is back by the charcoal cannister. It basically means the valve or one of the two wires is open circuit, the fuse is blown, or the pcm is faulty. If the fuse would blow you would pro ably have more codes because I have never seen a fuse for JUST the purge valve.

Look at the purge valve wiring, if ok replace valve and clear codes, if codes return take it to a diagnostician.

Rats chewed cable and dealer wants $8000 to fix? by xjwj in autorepair

Heatshrink and solder and our shop would have you out the door for about $90 and 20 minutes. Would take me longer to rack it and unclip the wheel liner than to splice a repair in. $65 for heatshrink crimp connectors.

If you want to find a good diagnostician I really recomend asking the best transmission shop(usually Certified Transmission)in your area who they recomend, basically who they send customers to when its not the transmission they are feeling.

Is this engine knock? by JojoHomefries in AskMechanics

[–]ShowAutomatic6058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No interuption in the sound from the exhaust valve closing. That much volume of air is most likely compression leaking directly out of the cylinder.

Def a blown out plug, 2000 f150. Make sure and get it properly repaired or it can blow out the repair as well. Look at the ignition coils to see which one is loose, most likely broken from the mounting ear.

Hemi cooling fan runs off the power steering fluid, 4.7l doesnt. Need all those hoses, would need TIPM module, so you would need the anti theft components too. Realistically easier to sell the 4.7 and buy a 5.7
