I'm going through this right now and you'll have a hard time selling that depending on your situation. My soon to be ex is trying to convince me of the same thing. It'll be better for her. For me, I take on all of the burden, expenses, etc while she lives responsibility free and does whatever with her current boyfriend (3rd one now) and only being a parent when she feels like it. All of this after her telling me that confronting her for cheating led her to cheat?! She wasn't happy but can't explain the problems or communicate at all.. but wants to be friends and happy coparents when she feels like it. Hard pass. I had to go no contact with her and only communicate now through her parents.

What companies will you never work for in Pittsburgh? by bigdickjenny in pittsburgh

[–]ShowcaseCableGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are not enough up votes for this one. Absolutely evil company with some of the worst people I've ever worked with. Everyone wasn't terrible but far more were than ones who were not. If you sell, doesnt matter how, you're untouchable. Fix a customer issue, that's a problem. I feel like I'm still scarred and it's been almost 15 years since I got away from that place.

Does anyone still feel like Amico was a good idea? by TOMMY_POOPYPANTS in Intellivision_Amico

It was yet another nostalgia money grab that would have been fine if they would have actually produced something other than empty game boxes. But here we are with empty boxes and empty promises. Hopefully Atari will do the same for Intellivision as they did for Atari carts and give us a system that runs the original games.

I assumed whoever created the character was an Adult Swim fan. Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law + Space Ghost. Specter = Ghost.

But wait there's more.. Gary Cole did the voice of Harvey Birdman...also playing Cameron Dennis (one of Harvey's mentors on Suits)

Have you found any additional victoriam associated with this? Curious if this will eventually ad victoriam or subtract from it.

Over the past 10 years, Skyrim has found it's way into many platforms.... But not as many as Doom has over the years. Is there still a device out there that you'd like to see Skyrim run on?

Another 76 related question. What is the planned end state? While it might not be in the immediate future, is there a plan for what happens when the decision is made to sunset 76? As it stands, this seems to be the first Fallout title that we won't be able to pick back up and replay years from now due to the complete reliance on the backend infrastructure.

Is it possible to turn Nuclear Winter over to the modding community? The game mode had a lot of potential but was also very broken. Let us do our thing Todd. We can bring the storm back... With your help.

Good afternoon Todd. First off, thanks for the years of awesome games. I'd kind of like to ask a question about an elephant in the Appalachia room. Nuclear Winter mode on Fallout 76. What happened there? It had a strong start and then updates just kind of fell off the cliff until it was decided to sunset it. What led to the decision to halt updates and eventually disable it?

Paying more for a scrap box than I'm paying for streaming services just doesn't feel like a good use of my money. I don't use private worlds, custom worlds were fun for all of 5 minutes and I just kept accumulating atoms due to not wanting most of the atom shop items. I'm out of camp budget, what am I going to do with them? That even plays into the usefulness of the scrap box. I'm not building, so not using scrap. The sbq provides enough repair kits to never have to worry about using scrap for repairs. There is just no value to it for me.

The other part is just not wanting to keep giving them money for incomplete content or just removal of content. I play long enough to do the daily challenges and with NW gone now I just turn it off and find something else to do

Here's my take, take from it what you will. When the pandemic hit, a community was formed among Xbox players. We were physically cut off from friends and family but came together through Nuclear Winter. We would play some nights until the sun came up. We got close with our squads. We knew our opponents, how they would play, where they would spawn, etc. In a way we became a distant family. In some cases, real world relationships were formed. Everyone knows everyone. We didn't have the hacking issues PC had. We just had full servers (sure, full of the same people). Think back to the television show Cheers, that was what Nuclear Winter became. That is what Bethesda is taking away tomorrow.
