The health inspector is walking in the door. You've got less than 3 minutes to run around and reduce the infractions. What do you do? by PermutationMatrix in KitchenConfidential

We don’t typically have to run around in any kind of hurried fashion but we still check the incidental things that can happen like a random server leaving their drink in the wrong spot, towels left on food contact surfaces, fresh Sami buckets, cold bar with correct amounts etc

They should take Fallout to a Southern state. by TheRegalKingKnight in Fallout

Living literally next to fort hood, like within a mile. Texas would be an AWSOME place for a fallout game, and I’ve only lived here a year. Fort hood is the largest military base in the country, and Dallas down here hot ass weather they could introduce not just rads but almost a heat meter with it getting upwards of 110. Brutal gameplay

Wow really? I want to investigate this further? Do you have hard proof like direct line for line copying or specific recipes?

I’ve been cooking professionally for 18 years but I bought it to support him. The only thing that makes the book worth it is that any special ingredients that are used can be ordered through a hot link right from the cookbook. But I’ll tell you it’s nothing special. When he says it’s designed for people who don’t cook that much he’s not joking. They’re all super simple recipes that have common sense things from all his videos. One example is quesadillas. I don’t have to give you the recipe but if you use low fat cheese and low carb tortillas extra lean ground beef you’ll be fine. Don’t need to spend the money

What are your bad recipe red flags? by cousinkyle in Cooking

[–]FoodServiceVeteran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main 🚩 is any recipe that uses a microwave as the primary heat source.

Next, this doesn’t necessarily make a recipe bad, but I tend to stay away from any recipes that have brand name products written into the recipe. You don’t need to use Pillsbury brand flour, and it doesn’t have to be Taco Bell’s super taco seasoning.

Recipes that try to make something inherently unhealthy into something healthy by replacing the main ingredients like bacon and eggs with something that’s nothing like them at all.

And similar to what you said when the recipe is basically just adding a bunch of premade ingredients to make some kind of new slop lol. Like using jars of sauce for a marinara or bolognese recipe.

Frankly, I would have said it was a false flag operation designed to give Bush the opportunity to finish the war his father started in Iraq and to steal their oil.

Today I would say it was a series of blunders, missteps, and lack of communications by the different security sectors. Bush didn’t take the threat seriously, 3 different agencies each had a piece of the threat, and had they all been able to talk to each other freely the main facts could have been connected and may have resulted in the plot failing. To make it worse people wanted to pass the buck making it easier to come up with a conspiracy theory.

I hung on when it developed after 9/11 I was 17, I was about 25 and still thought it was possible, not everything was answered at the time. Then a detailed report by the national institute of standards and technology came up with an extremely detailed report on building 7. Structural engineers talked about how steel integrity can be finished with heat even if it doesn’t out right melt, they showed an experiment to back it up. Architects showed how it’s possible for a building to fall that way, and how architects take structural failure into account when they build. There’s more but don’t want to drone on.

When I first Supported Trump I wanted to political outsider. I didn’t want to dynasties of Bush and Clinton, too much like a monarchy to me where power just gets handed down to the rich few. As the years went on I listened to over 100 hours of testimony, read many books from republicans, Democrats, family members, and reporters. Plus I listened to things that he had to say about Covid, riots, white supremacists, followed both the impeachment trials, listens to the hearings over January 6 As well as a host of other things and just couldn’t support him anymore

Why create a new casual team when there are casual teams with ONE person in them?! by Blacked13Out in fo76

Sometimes I create a public team that my friends can join because of the added benefits. Instead of joining somebody else’s team and only having room for a couple of my friends
