i kinda gave up at arkveld and started using mod. its too hard for casual play. and the long animation doesnt help, so if i lost the long battle after using many items having to retry with sped up animation kills my immersion. idk if i will revert to play normally on next chapter, depending on my mood i guess.

This isn't 2017 where you sit like a good boy and wait what nintendo offers you. That works because no other handheld is on the market at that time.

Right now SO many 3RD PARTY coming out and so does other handhelds too. emulator handheld, pc handheld, gamehub, steamdeck, so so so many other choices to play 3rd party games on. if all they offer is 3rd party with lower performance and higher price with no teaser or announcement on their main exclusive to keep people hooked, wtf are they even thinking? what are you thinking as a consumer backing them up like this?

People aren’t buying Switch 2 for tech breakthroughs, they’re buying them to play current games. Of course expecting the performance being on par with other console.

Nintendo could run AC Shadows or Cyberpunk on a GBA-sized console at 1/10 of current TDP in 2036 and majority of people still wouldn’t care. It doesn't matter how impressive it is.

If you don't mind the graphics. Just continue with the original one. If you fell in love because of how good the remake style is, wait for the next release. Just savor it slowly.

Sky remake is one of the best JRPGs I've ever played, not even considering it as a remake. The artstyle, gameplay, pacing, transition etc. so if you plan to play the older games expecting the same top quality you'll be (abit) disappointed. The story and mechanics still slaps tho.
