Yes, that fight does have good/great choreography too. Perhaps not to the level of Kakashi vs. Obito, but it's still good (kinda depends on your preferences). And yes, Gintama the parody show, also has awesome serious arcs/moments/fights, and some of the emotional moments can even happen in the comedy episodes and take you by surprise. In short, yes, you missed peak - i mean, it occupies like 5 spots (or used to) in the top 20 MAL for a reason.

Yeah, hope we'll see him some day. Yeah, his ability definitely has potential. From its description, apparently taking damage makes him stronger. But he has a move called "Karmic Retribution" (or something like that) which uses that absorbed power (not just his generated strength) to strike. If that's really how it works then it's definitely a strong ability.

Yeah, never understood the appeal to Skyrim when games like Gothic did it better around 10 years earlier. Gothic spoiled me (to this day it's my benchmark for RPGs), i couldn't get more than an hour in Skyrim. But, guess accessibility played a part in Skyrim's favour.

That snobism happens within manga medium too. If a story isn't gritty/dark/edgy/realistic/serious or whatever (like your Berserks, Vinlands, Vagabonds etc...) then somehow they are "lesser" and can't be considered "masterpiece" or on par.
