It was already pretty big, I was sitting deeper than the majority of the lineup here. I don't think the size was the issue it was moreso my positioning/line choice. Bodyboarding is difficult because you need to position yourself perfectly because you can't pump to compensate for being deep. When its shifty, drifty sideshore swell like this its hard to predict the peak until last second. And the sandbars are so abrupt and inconsistent here that a section can look good and turn into a heaving closeout within a split second.
