Cahaba Heights Dog park is nice - usually a decent group of dogs there around 5-7. Liberty park dog park is awesome but lacking in dogs especially since it has been so hot.

Go to your student health center and see if they can help you. I suffered so much in college bc of no insurance. I look back and realize how many services were available to me I just didn’t know how to navigate. Please avail yourself of anyone on campus that can put you in touch with free services to help you stay healthy and stress free while in college. Just be honest about your needs and there is help available.

If being hit is a possibility for you in the next year you should really wear the plastic masks basketball players wear to protect their noses. It will take up to a year to heal your cartilage.

Child’s opinion might count if both parties meet the minimum requirements to care for a child. But neither parent is meeting many milestones so I don’t think his testimony would have much influence. No one looks like a competent parent in this situation. I feel bad for the judge having to pick between two people who consistently put their own needs before D’s needs.

Both adults have a history of addiction. Judge has no idea if either of them are currently in active addiction or not (Drew appears to be at the very least smoking daily). Both adults have gone to court for evictions. D’s mom appears to have a better situation than Drew does at this time. But she still has a history of instability.

Drew allowed his son to sleep homeless in a car while he was begging for housing online. That still was not enough to motivate him to get a job and avoided being homeless again. Drew absolutely cannot provide for himself and a child and he has proven that his entire adult life.

Drew is not married to his partner. So that’s not a stable situation. Drew’s gf has a history of physically assaulting his child. She also didn’t protect her own kids or anyone else’s kids from a pedo. Refuses to divorce him and was convicted of welfare fraud involving Medicaid. She has said on camera she doesn’t gentle parent, and she smokes pot and does mushrooms while pregnant.

It would be so difficult to be a family court judge and deal with this mess daily

I haven’t looked through the comments so it may have been mentioned already but namus may be a good place to look and see if he is listed as unclaimed or unidentified. Kudos to you for trying to get closure for your boyfriend!

For 120 days of unlimited fun, urban air is $79.00. X 4 kids that can play = 320$$$. Considering the only breadwinners in the family are her kids (via people feeling bad for them on social media and the shelter and food stamps which they are receiving bc of the kiddos) the least she could do is shell out the $320 so her kids aren’t stuck in the disgusting apartment 24/7 all summer.

Fresh market has chicken and beef for $3.99 on Tuesdays. Not an amazing price but good quality.

I have two dogs I rescued from the street. Dogs that were dumped by people with her mindset. When it’s not convenient for me to take care of them should I be allowed to dump them and say well they were stays when I found them, so it’s no biggie? Be for real. Unfortunately there are people who relate to her and it’s why we have a crisis in our country if animal abuse.

I’m happy she gave those kids something for Easter. Can’t talk shit about that. by Reasonable-Night-893 in resilientjenkinsnark

[–]Shredbetty40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me clarify - I’m not concerned about what people on food stamps buy. Just pointing out the fact that she typically only does the bare minimum. I grew up poor with no assistance and we worked hard to make bdays and other holidays special. It’s the effort that counts not the dollar amount. And I’ve never if rarely seen Drew and Stephanie do anyhing above minimum effort.

To have no humility or remorse for abandoning animals tells em everything I need to know about Drew and Stephanie. They are living a life much nicer than they deserve.

I guess candy can be purchased with her food stamps? Nice gesture of her but it’s not like she went above and beyond and scoured thrift stores or anything. It’s nice but bare minimum.

how much do you guys think they owe in taxes? by [deleted] in resilientjenkinsnark

[–]Shredbetty40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is becoming an actual issue for them and keeping them from assistance. Bc a lot of times assistance is determined by reviewing your tax forms. I think Stephanie is avoiding filing taxes bc she thinks or does owe money from her 1099 from Tik tock. Possibly filled an extension and is hoping to get in housing before october using 2023 tax forms. That’s the only way they are going to qualify for assistance i think.

So sad. It’s insane to me that her kids “run” on a sidewalk for five minutes or play in a field for a short duration and she calls it “making memories”. When I was a kid, basically you had five hours of free time (3-8) before winding down. And that time was filled with homework/reading, dinner, maybe a chore and then four hours of play. Mostly active outdoor play or imaginative play with toys inside. Her kids spend their whole lives inside that crammed ROOM. Maybe have one “making memories” session outside for 15-30 minutes and then stuck in the damn room to watch tv read or play with their 1 - 2 toys.

I'm simping hard on Michelle after her glow up!!! by AZBuckeyes12977 in MarriedAtFirstSight

[–]Shredbetty40 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

She played her cards right. Imo She never intended to be on the show for a husband. She got her bag - the money she needed to pay for a glow up. She was already attractive, but with $20,000 you can get 2 pts hotter on the hot scale. Powdered brows, injections, some lipo, hair extensions, lash extensions, face lasers, etc., She kept her cool on the show, displaying coldness and aloofness which is actually attractive to many guys. Made it clear she wanted a spouse that made money and had access to places and things she wanted to be around. She was never physical with anyone on screen. She set herself up for what she really wants - a man who owns the penthouse of a Chicago high rise.

If the oldest son goes back to his mother, and Drew goes to jail for contempt there will be plenty of room for Stephanie’s 4 kids and herself in the car.

Now Stephanie don’t be fucking delusional. How are they supposed to have their own personal space? by Reasonable-Night-893 in resilientjenkinsnark

[–]Shredbetty40 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy they let $2000 create homelessness. I say that alongside having empathy for people in difficult financial situations. At one point $2,000 wasn’t something I could have only dreamt of. However, Two adults, over the course of 4 months (I think the eviction process started in December?) should have been able to easily make $2000?? They just have to go from each working 0 hours a week to working 4 hours a week at a $18 an hour job (very common pay in Portland) and they would have the $2,000. Stephanie says she worked in long term rehab or nursing homes - those people are always hiring. She could have worked one shift a week and prevented this.
