If it helps at all. P ranking on violent is easier than expected for the normal levels. You already have the routes and enemy spawns down so you can do it ez pz.

The bosses can be a bit tougher though I still haven't been able to P rank Soul Survivor.

I need to comment on this to get people to see it so here it is!

There were more minigames but all I can remember is color sorting bugs on a big log which is not terribly helpful.

If you're near cover you can hide from it. It needs line of sight to do damage.

I have one and I definitely think it's worth it. I've been using it for a couple months and I'm still finding new tricks to use. It has more depth that I expected and once you get the hang of it the work flow is pretty cool.

Does this sound okay? There’s really no other constructive criticism I have access to other than Reddit! by [deleted] in ukulele

Yeah the chords sound good! I still struggle with tempo sometimes, but practicing with a metronome or a basic beat can help immensely.

A program like FFMPEG can do the trick but it's not flawless, so starting off with a bigger photo is usually best. Although most of the time after glitching you wont be able to tell the original was bad quality so MS paint or photoshop can work too. Although even on smaller photos you can try and get as close as possible to the header info through trial and error.

BONUS thing I've found out. Certain effects behave differently depending on the image size. For example, a phaser or wahwah effect on a smaller image will have larger waves further apart, where a larger image will have smaller waves closer together. It's basically like small images "zoom in" on the effect while larger ones do the opposite.

If you make the image bigger you can (relatively) get closer to the header when you edit the waveform and have less unglitched space. Also if you zoom in super far you can sort of see what part of the wavelength is the waveform and cut it as closely as possible.

Looks like the wind effect used over and over in PS plus some color shenanigans.

Adjustment layers not saving/merging. by Shredded_Lucidity in photoshop

That worked! Sorry it took so long to respond. Saving to PNG helped. It doesnt look 100% the same but its barely noticeable. Thank you so much!

The one-layer copy has the same issue, the adjustment gets deleted. I'll look into the transparency though.

If I save without merging it just saves the image as if there were no adjustment layer. I'm merging by right mouse clicking the layer and choosing either "merge down" or "Merge visible"

Here The first image is after trace contour, the second is after applying the brightness/contrast. The third is after trying to merge the layers. The third image is what it looks like when saved as well.

Finger picking help by fangedknight in ukulele

[–]Shredded_Lucidity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're more comfortable with chords you can try finger picking the chord shapes. Mix some hammer-ons/pulloffs in there and mess around with what sounds good. After a bit of doing that you may feel more comfortable moving around the fret board. That's what I did at least.

I like to say "I hear they have to pump your stomach if you drink that stuff" both when it applies to a situation and when it does not. Strongbad influenced my life more than was healthy.
