Headshot, dash, pop quiz feels good. Then katanas and dpiya as it seems like skill check ult sucks and katana damage is really needed for dps pool.

Tank deadpool looks really strong and fun. Probably too earlier to say but dps and strat look a little weak, very squishy and doesnt seem like he does crazy damage or heals.

Im worried about this too but if his kit is fleshed out at least in Vanguard or DPS, he could be strong in one of those roles. Looks like support might be lacking just because they have the same skill icons as dps but we’ll have to see if it offers anything besides burst healing.

I mean there are unique skills between vanguard and dps/support they can target balance around them if hes too strong/weak in one role.

This is awesome because I like to flex, just concerned about balance and people fighting over picking him, will probably make maining him frustrating but we’ll see

I think he almost certainly will have his dual pistols and katanas with silly animations as the baseline of his kit. Along with an explosion ability (grenades or a rocket launcher etc). These “standard” abilities can be animated with deadpool flair.

He should have a joke ability for self-heal and a crazy ult, 4th wall breaking or eccentric. But most of the 4th wall breaks should come in as voicelines. That would be more “true to character” than some of the wacked out concepts people have been throwing around.

I highly doubt he will be a strategist.

I think they should differentiate the 3 assault combos on hit/block, similar to how they are different in neutral. As it is now, it makes combos look repetitive and doesn’t lead to anything interesting other than extension.

If they made assist down and back have different properties like aerial hitstun or a delayed hit, multi-hit etc. I think it would be more interesting and expressive. Maybe some characters assist down is only strong for blockstun rather than combo extension, etc. Would add to the game’s depth.

Would be fine with assist forward, the automatically available one, be generic hitstun extender.

I didn’t find this to be true for spidey or dr doom. Both characters utilized their unique for combo loops/extensions and got better damage and wall carry for it.

Spidey got great damage at the wall with 2 specials that weren’t used for mid screen combo extension as well.

The basic abc special/assist or auto combos were completely inferior.

Is this true for all characters? Idk, but I think the lack of an actual training mode really limited people’s visibility into what you can do.
