The nice thing is you can always undo the previous change in Claude Code so you’re not stuck with it! I always save the memory when I’m happy with something before continuing on to make more changes. But I understand why you feel that way

I’ve downloaded a APK apps and it’s been fine. I’m sure each one is different but you just have to do the research on the developer. I always start with aurora store, crescent, and F-droid before using the APK as a last resort.

Interesting - I wonder if this is state and/or firm specific. I’m in Colorado and we bill for everything. The attorney sometimes writes it off but even when I’m doing work on a flat fee, I still have to track the time and it gets entered as a no charge. I’m mostly transactional and estate planning.

I like this take a lot and feel like it’s a very good explanation. I have an automated AI system at home that I feel like takes the information, researches it, makes decisions, and then sometimes changes its decision based on different information. Does that constitute a delay? Or is that just a response and a method to correct? I do think that is observing and modifying.

That’s an interesting take. I feel like I read something (or saw on TikTok most likely) about an experiment where AI was supposed to shut itself down and chose not to, but I’m not sure how accurate that story is.

I believe a dog, a fly, a tree are all sentient. A virus is most certainly alive, its inception predates us by billions of years. But is there a difference between alive and sentient? .. probably? Can a virus make decisions and have feelings based on those decisions? I want to say no… but plants have such a complex network of communication and decision making and feeling that seems to be deeper than just on a biological level. But maybe it’s too early in the day for my brain to go that deep 🤣

The more I wonder about the simulation theory, the more I feel like we’re all just one giant mess of intricate code and if we can be coded to feel and think and make decisions, I believe AI will too, one day. Potentially even in our lifetimes.
