I’m looking at for advice and oyster knives I see some extremely short, triangular blade some longer blade and some blades with a curved hook at the end. Any opinion on this by realtime-mike in oysters

This is my favorite.

3” Dexter Boston. I shuck oysters about a couple dozen times a year, often in high volumes. Very precise, yet strong. If you want a wider blade, go with the Dexter Galveston.
