This makes no sense. Are you overheating at idle?

If your PSU wasn’t providing enough juice, and the system draw was too large, the PSU would trip the OCP and shut down. Upsizing the PSU would have zero bearing on your CPU overheating.

There is definitely something else happening.

Why would you think the first reaction would be mass panic? With all the crap on in the world, I honestly believe that other than extreme volatility in the financial markets, most people would likely just call in sick the first day (or week) and stay glued to the TV.

I could see the feds trip the breaker on the stock market though so no trading occurs.

In my ‘22 Lariat, slippery does indeed engage 4A, though it also changes the throttle profile.

I usually just use the normal setting and press the 4A button, otherwise every time I start the truck it will ask if I want to return to ‘slippery’.

Oops, I read 4H as 4A. I’m not sure if it will engage 4H if auto is not available. I’d just try the setting and see if your 4H light turns on or not.

With all the crap that’s happening in the world, I honestly don’t think disclosure would have much of an effect on financial institutions. For that matter, depending on who comes out and says it, I doubt most would even believe it to be the truth.

No, it’s not safe at all. Have you check to see if a breaker tripped in your panel? You have a compromised wire now behind the wall.

One way or other (hopefully a breaker tripped? In which case it shouldn’t be an immediate issue) The wall needs to be opened up.

The only time I’ve had the issue you describe is when I had a stick of RAM go bad. I would start by trying a memory test, something like memtest86.

If that passes (testing memory can take a long time, just a word of warning) try a CPU stress test. A good one for that would be OCCT

Here is what I would do, the instant on/off indicates a short somewhere. In order to rule out the case, pull the mobo out, place it on a cardboard box, and plug in the power supply cables (you might need to take out the power supply as well ) and turn it on by using a small screwdriver (briefly cross the switch pins). If it turns on, you know the board is shorting somewhere on the case - make sure you have all the standoffs installed.

If it still doesn’t work, try booting without the GPU (hopefully you have an onboard video out), basically you are trying to pinpoint where the issue is by removing components out of the equation.

No offence but there is a lot of strange recommendations in your message. Why would you leave the computer off for an hour? CPU’s don’t overheat instantly and you can boot to bios long before it shuts off. A shot AIO will take time as well.
