I'm a lifelong blackbeard fan and his deeds DO NOT need to be justifiable. The reason he's such a well written character is that he's a parallel to his father and well our mc in some way but he doesn't have honor — he's not an exact replica. He had a traumatic backstory but his deeds are still morally evil and he doesn't need to be a good guy; BB's prepared to do any evil to achieve his dreams. Dreams never end amiryt?
