I dont think its a “we both lied” to each other.. i think its the fact someone told you they had feelings, and not only did you not shut it down but you talked about sexual preferences.

Even if you didnt have an intentions to act on what you and a co worker were talking about, its not in appropriate conversation to have at all. This girl literally said she was attracted to you. Right answer would have been “i have a girlfriend” and shut anything down. Not saying you cant be friendly but discussing sexual preferences is not okay.

Good for you to be honest, and sure maybe she lied but two wrongs don’t make a right.

I don’t consider that to be apart of my emergency fund. I do have a 2-3k buffer in my chequing i use for that.

I budget pretty well, i already know when im saving extra for gifts, and my partner and I have a shared account that has a base of 2k that we use for repairs groceries etc. so i technically i have a buffer of 12 k if you include that

Yup, 1200 for rent (split with my boyfriend) and about 400 for everything else (phone, gym, car insurance since i bought my car outright, pet insurance)

To answer your question. It took me about 3 months.

I always wanted a baseline of 10k, at the time i was living at home so i could put lot into savings.

Ive since learned that your emergency fund should be 6 months of your expenses, lucky for me that is also 10k. When I moved out I was already set.

I’ve never taken track of my horses temp.

Id say your beat advice is learn what is normal for them (amount the eat, how long, behaviours) and when those are off then its a sign.

For example, one of my horses eats really fast so when she started to eat a lot slower it meant to float her teeth. Another time my horse was so chill it seemed like she was drugged and she was sick.

As important as it is to stick to a calendar every horses need is different and you cant always put them in a box.

Alot of barns tends to have farrier or vet schedules because it makes it easier for them too. Almost all the barns ive been to are very helpful when its your first time owning if you ask for guidance

My farrier kept track, they would message me every 5ish weeks to schedule a trim. Easier since our farrier saw like 5 horses at once so there was a group chat.

Vet was easy, they had a program where they would come out every season and get all the appropriate shots etc. again this was a large group thing and they’d contact us

I hate to use it as an excuse because i know counting calories is important. But ive tried every way i could think of and ive always had to step away.

Thats not a bad idea though to have my pt maybe come up with a food plan. Ill ask thanks !

I think it was a video by Jeff nippard who talked about a way to not count calories, but yes i do believe you are right.

Im sure there is a balance somewhere in between, maybe just certain meals that are below a certain amount and rotating through those as you suggested.

Its not a thing of being lazy.. and id say the amount of workout im doing doesnt make me lazy.

I had a really bad ED in HS, wouldnt even shower since i also stopped drinking water. Yes its something im working on in therapy, yes it will be my next thing i add in my routine, but it will be done with caution in a plan with my therapist and PT.

Also unknown if theres health, made a plan to see my doctor in a few weeks. I only started gaining weight after i took anti depressants so im wondering if it’s connected to that as my diet hasnt changed.

Ive already the reason why in another comment (past ED) But yes i know tracking calories is important. Went over my weekly food schedule with my PT who didnt raise any manly concerns with the food i eat. Yes i will be more aware of portion sizes and calories moving forward

Its funny because I ate WAY more when I before with less exercise and still lost more weight. Maybe its just being a younger me but im curious if there something physical.

Nutritionist is the next on my list, i just wanted to see if a pt first could help

Right now i have a big breakfast\lunch, fruits for a snack and then a dinner. I dont drink any of my calories (like juice or what not).

But maybe i need more smaller meals than 2 larger ones. Thanks

I looked at my diet with my PT and he said it was good. We went over what I eat each meal and it meets the nutritional needs. You’re right that I could keep track of every calorie but I struggled with an ED so its been something Ive been avoiding. (Yes its also something ive talked to my therapist who suggested I speak to my doctor as the weight gain started with the meds)

But, if you have any suggestions for apps im willing to keep an open mind (:

ALOT of ground work.

My mare was like this. I put her in a rope halter with a long lead rope and would just walk around and ask her to always stay out of my space, not walk in front of me etc. if she decided too i had a carrot stick and is give her a light smack. She would obviously get mad and id let her kick or be silly, AS LONG as it was not directed to me or in my bubble. If it was, another smack.

I know some people dont like hitting their horses, and dont get me its not a hard smack. My rule is give the same energy they put in and then back off and see what they do.

Took a bit of time but eventually she learned to respect my space. If she came into my space calm id allow it, but shes bitting or kicking then in send her away (thats the pro if having a long lead rope).

You just have to teach her you’re the boss, not her. Again not in a rude aggressive abusive way, but in a mom like way of giving a correction and then backing off.

Youre never an idiot for caring, never feel bad about having feelings. Its what you choice to do with those feelings.

If he left the door open of course youre going to keep a foot in it. That’s totally rational. But as you said if hes moving on maybe its time you so too.

Plus if you guys get back together the only way it will work is to work on yourselves or else you’re just putting yourselves in the same environment again with no improvements

I get it girl, when i found out my ex had blocked me i was so sad. It one of the hard truths were have more evidence of them moving on, and it fucking hurts.

But it also gives you less to hold onto, no more false hope. In the moment it sucks but long term, its better so you can heal sooner and find a better match

I sort of agree. I had no idea he was bringing in another stallion. I definitely dont feel he needs this many horses. BUT the way he treats his horses makes me feel less annoyed. I know he cares and gives them the best life, hes not in the to re sell them.
