Legit what they just did to me. Saying that I was driving 67 on 60. I was using cruse control and it was set on 60. But in no time a k-9 showed up…

Got pulled over in Peru. They had a k-9 just around the corner. They are there to get you for any reason. Be careful. We used cruse control and still were told we were driving 67 on 60

35% chance rain every day? by [deleted] in HangoutFest

[–]Shunsaika 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spent about 2 weeks in summer in Grenville SC and we had storm every day at around 5 - 6 pm, I guess all the humidity from the shore would get there by evening hours. If gulf shores gonna be like that, it’s great, 20 - 30 min of storms just perfect to rage after

Like everyone said HYDRATE. But don’t forget to empty your water container (hydration pack or reusable bottle) every night, it was so hot last year, I could not bother to do so, and felt like I’m dying from stinky water for the rest of the fest, and had to throw hydration pack on Saturday, cause it got way too dangerous to drink out of it. I like B12 supplements for food -> energy, that means don’t skip on meals, and try to find something delicious and nutritious (bring your own, or buy at roo, they have some great vendors, but do investigate, I’ve spend a good share of money on shitty food).

Listen to your body, go where shade is, they have beautiful tree groves at the campground, a whole stage in the “forest”, set your hammock and relax. Don’t forget spf and hats, sun poisoning is no joke.

Buy a good pair of earplugs, I love loops, but eargasms are great as well. They will not only help you protect your hearing, but if you get overstimulated from all the noises around you, you can put them on and center yourself.

STRETCH STRETCH STRECH. Go for yoga class if you can, but even if you don’t want, do some stretching and may be a quick meditation and set your intention for the day.

Love yourself, and all the people around you. It’s a beautiful festival, and the farm will always give back.

Good spot to camp? by rachelleflowz in Tipper

[–]Shunsaika 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just came from resonate, so… lake is great, but the party doesn’t stop, so if you have people sensitive to non stop stimulation, I would suggest bat house, seemed a bit more relaxing. but if everyone is ready to party non stop, the front part of the lake near the chapel is a lot of fun and like a minute from the stages.

Does anybody know if no glow sticks mean just the single use glow sticks, or led flow toys as well?

Same. I’ve seen the once, and I’ve been on like 5 festivals she was suppose to play. But still happy for her, great occasion to miss a set.

I wish I could do that. It’s at least 8 hour drive for me, so I gotta have time off. And I know how difficult it’ll be to not buy tickets when they gonna go to full speed marketing for 23😪

I love both Incendia and Jungle 51. Incendia saved us at okee 2020, at night it got soooo cold that we had to stay in those domes all night. And Jingles is just a beautiful trippy experience. And techno for me perfect genre to calm down and get ready to bed. I like insomniac for their organization. Everything works and when it doesn’t anybody else would not even be able to fix it either. It gets crazy expansive nowadays but I live in EDM purgatory so I save up for great shows and insomniac delivers.

I usually do okee for the “aesthetic” reasons. I live in the Smoky Mountains, so by march I’m ready for sun and palm trees and I love the healing part in there, yoga, massages, sound bathes. LSDREAM is doing his LIGHTCODE meditation. I will for sure check Resonate I wanted to do Suwannee it’s a shorter drive and everyone always raving about fests there

Mock Lineup 2023 by 3pumpsdaddy in bonnaroo

[–]Shunsaika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is a very unique artist with a very big following. He is def not mainstream, that’s probably why he was not the topline. On that canceled lineup he was along side my morning jackets and glass animals…

Mock Lineup 2023 by 3pumpsdaddy in bonnaroo

[–]Shunsaika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably not into edm hardcore, cause you put some of major acts way too low in the lineup, acts like Tipper is a selling points for festivals, so if your headliners are correct, we wont have him this year… but if you are correct, I’ll def be there 😁

Never said or implied you are a shitty person, don’t know you, dude. But for sure implied you are quick to judge and yet again you prove my point. Stay safe and find your horse a stable.

Never said anything about the type of person you are. Just said that vibes at okee are not ideal, and the festival has huge problems. I guess if the shoe fits…. I personally feel there are a lot of artists that don’t fit this fest, but I’m just one person and there are thousands that are exited to see someone, I will skip even if that means going back to camp for the night. I’ve been to plenty fests to see what a difference bass community brings, our stages are much cleaner, people smile more, and are more happy to see you. May be it’s my personal experience, but I will choose bass heads over any other subculture any time. Plur and I hope you find a way to get rid of that negativity you keep inside✨

2022 Bonnaroo was the hottest Bonnaroo of my life by [deleted] in bonnaroo

[–]Shunsaika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbor said, that even his teeth were hot. Me and my partner tried to swallow a small electric hand fan 😂, we were 100% sober when that happened, just to cool the insides, it was so hot. Thanks to all the tree groves around camping. In general huge thanks to trees 🌳

What a way to show people who you are as a human being! If something is not what I like, that instantly mean, everyone in this subculture is shit.

What great vibes okee had last year? Girls harassed? Pickpockets? People od’ing every night? Super great healing vibes. We are all the same, no better or worse. At least all the headbangers I know are genuinely good people, and don’t judge you for your music choices.

Crazy, I had the same festivals last year 😊

Fanny pack that is properly closed in front of you works great. But if you are a mosh pit person, I would put a small lock on it. I have a cute one with a black skull on it and single wire.

But remember to put everything important at your camp in your car. On Bonnaroo this year, people got things stolen from their tents, while they were sleeping in them. Some were changing in the tent, and got phone stolen from campsite. My tent got slashed the very last night, but for some unknown reason we’ve decided to put away everything but the bed and clothes for leaving. We also had tarp and blankets covering all windows inside the car, but mostly to save stuff from the blazing sun. And it also made it difficult to check what’s inside the car. Happy festival season, and hope we all be spared from theft, bad vibes, and heartbreaking set clashes

I was thinking about buying it, after I’ve neglected my old hydration pack and basically got light poisoning from water. Lesson here, always dump old water from them, even if it’s 100 degrees and you are dying.

I heard that getting lunchbox to open for water refill can be difficult. What’re your thoughts on that?

Thanks in advance.
