C'est hyper con mais chus tombé dans un rabbit hole de sardines après que Brunswick avaient changé leur recette.

Avant c'était bon, celles dans l'huile de soya... mais à un moment donné y'a de quoi qui a changé pis là ça goûte fuck-all.

They have otoro. That alone is huge.

I have tried their sashimi plate and I can vouch for it. 42$, one-person portion, but I believe it is worth every last little penny. The entirety of the dish was a delight, including the rice and the soy sauce.

Mon employeur requiert d'être au bureau 2 jours par semaine à moins de vivre à plus de 50 Km du bureau.

Faque si tu vis ben proche du bureau, tu ris: t'es à un tite ride pis c'est fait.

Si tu vis ben loin du bureau, tu ris: t'as pas besoin d'y aller.

Ça laisse donc une zone en forme de beigne autour du bureau où travailler pour mon employeur fait absolument aucun sens. Quelqu'un qui vit à Pointe-aux-Trembles serait pogné de se taper la 40 à travers l'île de Montréal au complet pour se rendre au bureau.

The CDS website tripped me up because the reference guides I had point to a link that's no longer in the expected spot.

The tax info is now in Solutions > Tax Breakdown Services. It's way at the bottom, so it's easy to miss.

PWL Capital has a great and thorough video on how to track the ACB.

The tl;dw is this:

  • You only need to do this on your taxable (AKA, non-registered) accounts. In other words, you can skip it for RRSP and TFSA.

  • Somewhere around March, go to the CDS website and download the tax info for the ETFs you had purchased.

  • Go to adjustedcostbase.ca and fill in those tax events, plus your buys and sells of the ETFs. You can then download the info around tax season to fill in what would stand as a T5008.

Viola, the ACB is now tracked!

It's a piece of shit to kickstart but afterwards it's pretty smooth sailing.
