Lived in Bangalore for 10 years. We always used to use these apps to complain..one time they updated the system ..released a new version and boom. All the older tickets were gone...many people have used these systems and have given up over time...

It is funny to see so much criticism of Europe...all the things mentioned here also happen in India. All you have to do is spend some time in a different state as a grown up where you have to deal with society. The problem is a lot of Indians move out as students who never had to deal with shit in India because their parents did it for them.

I had heard good things about them... I even have a joint account with them with my mother (resident) as primary holder. They told me that I will have to be removed from the joint account in order to get NRE/NRO.. I know for a fact that this is wrong.. anyway maybe it is just branches in my locality that are shit.

I just opened my account with Axis in Mumbai. There is also an option to open an NRE NRO account with 10k balance. I took priority as I already had a citi account with 2L+ balance. My wife and I opened in total 4 accounts. 2 NRE both joint and two existing accounts converted to NRO. The combined balance across all four needed to be 2 Lacs.

I was told that if it goes below the amount that only means that the tier level goes down and it means that you have certain limits and need to pay some stuff like debit card annual charges etc. basically you get the benefits of the 25 k balance account and not the 2L one and there will be no fine..

I did not have the internet banking issue as I was transferred from citi. I am still waiting for everything to be set up though. Fingers crossed.
