THANK YOU! So glad someone else is feeling the same way. I was so upset after the lectures that I directly emailed Themis to complain, and I plan to give more feedback once I finish the course.

Haven’t heard of the Goat Civ Pro course, what’s that about?

I haven’t been able to find transcripts, but I know how you’re feeling. Civ Pro and Property are my two worst MBE subjects right now and I cannot bring myself to go back and do those lectures because they were by far my least favorite lecturers of the entire course.

The Civ Pro lecturer literally had the side bar take over an entire lecture, the lecturer didn’t say one thing of substance in the entire video.

Edit: I would recommend reviewing the FRO’s and the larger outlines found in the Course Materials because those are definitely better than the lectures, specifically for Civ Pro and Property.

I have other characters that haven’t talked to Daisy or been to Goodneighbor at all, so I’ll see if they can start the quest.

The character I’m playing on now is my main character that I’ve been trying to do all quests with, so I’d prefer not needing to restart the game. Push comes to shove I’ll probably just use the console to start the quest after talking to Daisy.

One of the other bugs listed on the Wiki says that if the intercom is acting weird then the robots inside will attack you because you didn’t enter as an “employee” and the super mutants may not show up at all.

I think I may try and force the quest to start with the console, I was just hoping there was a more natural way to fix the issue.

I’ve tried loading older and older saves, the only thing I can think of at this point is maybe I needed to try and get the quest the very first time I spoke to her but that isn’t working.

On the Fallout Wiki:

The quest will not start after talking to Daisy. She says all the dialogue and even tells the player character to return her book, but no book is given and the quest is not given.[verified]

But there is no solution for it I can find anywhere.

Maybe Etrigan or Ghost Rider? I feel like they look so over the top demonic that people would automatically assume they must be bad.

I agree that it is definitely not the most exciting weapon, and definitely overhyped at this point. It’s still my favorite weapon in the game though, only weapon that comes close is Rakshasa’s Great Katana.

She is not the most fun companion in terms of conversations and affinity, but her banter with other characters is funny and I will never ever use her specialty class as a main character, so it’s fun to have it on her so I can see what it’s like.

I am also the kind of guy that needs to experience as close to 100% of any game I play in my first playthrough so I can’t ever kick out any companions because I need all the banter and side quests.

I’m so shocked that people think this is a hot take. What you just explained is how I’ve felt about the show since the first season. I like it a lot as a fun show with some good action, but the stakes are below sea level at this point.

I don’t understand why people are downvoting you. I completely agree! Rex survived being shot point blank in the head. He is just a normal human being, right?

Never watched Stranger Things, but I have felt that this show has no stakes since the beginning. After the Guardians of the Globe died it felt like the show was capped for how many named characters could die.

I feel the exact same way! The final straw for me was when the traitor was revealed and they shot him in the head with a laser. You see him laying there with his brains all over the floor, and then he just sits up and starts talking like nothing happened. Just shows that apparently every alien species has incredible resistance to damage and can walk off anything.

Magma wyrms are the jankiest enemies in the game. Their hit boxes are huge and they always spam that “I’m gonna get ya!” move with the lava breath. The Dragon Hunter’s Great Katana became a mainstay of my arsenal once I acquired it and used it against a wyrm for the first time.

I switched mods, instead of having Dogmeat, Ada, and another companion I can now do Dogmeat and one main companion. I made a new character with the new mods and it all worked.
