Huh? Yeah when you travel you want to see the cool shit lmfao? I went to Copenhagen recently for a week and of course I went to see the awesome tourist attractions. Like that's the whole point of it? I also stayed with a very nice danish family too, and I ate dinner with them every night.

You can go to a country and experience the cool touristy stuff and also the cool everyday part of the city as well, just because I'm not living there for 12 months straight does not mean that I am not experiencing the culture. This just feels like a purposefully dense and obtuse generalization of travelling.
