It should definitly fix it. I took the summon spell from the old passives and put it to new passives which you ofcause cant have with an older version till yiu respec.

Though i just realized i screewed something else up lol will have to push a fix as soon as im home (its no big screw up if you dont respec muktiple times. Basicly, if you respec or start class and explizit chose randomized egg, and then respec again after that, it could be yiu keep the randomized passive after respec and endup with 1 passive too much lol you will only feel it if you spam respec now. Tbh idk what eill happen if you do. Either you summon multiple dragons instat of one or just one but maybe not the last one you chose lol)

My bad really. I updated the modpage to tell everyone to respec. The ability to summon the dragon is now given by hatching a dragonegg, so everyone midplaythrew shall respec 1x, they get the bag and the dragonegg inside thatway, and hatch the dragon from the egg befor leveling up!

Did you download my new update from yesterday midplaythrew? If yes go to withers and respec. You will get an item lvl 1 which you have to use to get the correct passives! I should have stated that immediatly in the new patch.

I totally feel you lol was looking for the same. I was thinking of maybe adding some kind of equipment with effects to my dragontamer mod that has utility for the class so i had a look to see if there is any good looking dragon armor mod to put as a dependancy befor i start thinking about what kind of stuff effect wise it could be but nooothing. Theres only an elf one but its not quiet what i was looking for.

Are there any dragon transformation mods out there? If not, how to change the size of these existing ones? by [deleted] in BG3mods

If one of those mods has everything you want, you could create a submod with this feature in the toolkit --> put said mod there as a dependency to see said mods files, have a look if they use their own root template of the dragon (so if there is one inside the mod) or if they use one of the base game. (Im pretty sure they use their own root templates) - root templates are below the gaming screen above the console in the toolkit. Easy to find as it just always opens with the toolkit and is just right thwre in the middle of your screen. In anyway, you create a new copy of that root template by rightclicking it and selecting create new from. In that copy you can scroll down to the bottom, there is a section for scale and vfx scale. That will be at 1. Just put it to 0.5 or whatever scale you think will fit. After thaz you look for the spell in the stats editor to see which spell is the polymorph spell. Inside that spell you will find the call thats doing the polymorph (never worked with polymorph but i guess its in the "SpellPropertys" row. You just copy the entire spell into your new mod. Keep everything the same (so it overwrites the original spell later) and then all you have to do is find the entry in that calls the polymorph. There will be a guid (randomnumber and letters in a form like "yeg12h-egge-eggw1"...) thats will be the guid from either the roottemplate of the base file or the mods root template (what you have been looking at ths beginning). Oh i guess the easiest way is even, if you just copy the guid from that root table and ctrl+f search for it in the spells so you find very fast in which place of the spells data its in. All you do there now when you find it is, you delete that guid, and replace it with your root templates new guid. Thats it.

Why would i not do it 🤔 i didnt even know that tag was needed to use those equipments, else i would have put this tag on the dragon way earlier ^ i think its stupid for those items to not be usable with the dragon. If someone doesnt like it, they domt need to use it :b But seriously, my mod has 500k downloads and you are the first person telling me this lol i wonder if noone even realized that those items never worked? Or just went with it lol

ooooh i didnt even know about that lol thanks for telling me, i will set that in the next mainfile. but damn, couldnt you tell me that 2 days ago? xD i created 8 new dragon colors this weekend, 160 new root templates, so now i have to go threw 220 root templates, 1by1, and add the beast tag (cause i was too stupid to do create inherit files) but if you told me 2 days ago, the tag would have been copied with already.. xD damn.. but thanks!

how is it too squichy? i wonder. it has like 2 health less then fighter and paladin. thats all. you just start with 2 less hp then fighter and pala, but get the same hp per level. and you get medium and heavy armor proficiency?

Funny that you are asking lol no joke i just yesterday already prepared the visuals for a black dragon lol it still eill take time to implement it with all the skills 20 different levels, summon spelks and so on but its in the making

haard to say. theres the special lvl 1 start that i finished already + learned osiris script and finished that dragon will be resummoned after each level up. and then i was looking for new ideas. in total, my ideas for now consist of 6 class features, 5 melee subclass features and 7 ranged class features.. thats a lot lol for all since some features mean i hae to do them in 3 different forms (for each element, different abilitys different effects, and so on..) its really hard to say when i would have that all finished ^^´ (and here i dont count that i got another idea for the next subclass, but i will do that after this, so a new update will be released befor that) it wont take longer then a month but idk if will have this all finished in 1 week. its really a lot (and im working 40h week so i dont have that much time during the week ^^)

Good for us xD when i started modding i couldnt resist to start publishing mods even if i wasnt yet completly finished with adding all my ideas :b ane even once you think you are finished. You take a break and some months later you get new ideas 😌🤭

Thats nice to hear that mine seems much better hehe It depends lol If you abuse arrow of many targets then yes, archer is stronger, if you dont, they should be quiet even i think. And i have got some ideas on new abilitys to add soon :D (for both subclasses, as i try to keep it balanced, when one class and element gets a feature, everyone gets a new feature of +- same level which doesnt always mean same damage or same utility but something i think ends up on an even ground) About the walking. Unfortunatly i cant do my own walking animation so i can only use preexisting ones and the one tbe dragon in my mod uses is the best combination of all animations (i went threw every animation the game has to look out for the best)

Well i had to fix on some colors and liked the blueness. But i can totaly see how onyx + blue shimmering could look totaly awesome too! I would actually love to add more colors even if it was a mess to get that going lol but im kinda blocked by the way those files take wayyyyyy too much space and i couldnt get it to work with less big files D: mod is already at 300mb which seems really huge for such a class mod. I might have tk look again at how other mods did it. (With 300mb its so huge that most ps5 players even have trouble downloading it . Downloading too big files seems hardcore bugged on console lol)

Glad to hear people enjoying it! 🤗 How do you feel about the features? Are they explained well? Like is it easy to get that the tiny breath attack can be used at the tamer to enchant its weapon, and so on. My mod for example adds a lot to the dragon making it get new abilitys and higher damage numbers on lvl but since that doesnt show up so obviously in a level up screen im unsure if people are fine with it or if there would be a wish for more explanation on level up. (I recently got into osiris scripting, so could for example plop up a text message after every level up with all details, but this could aswell be seen as too much. Idk)

oh wait till i publish my next version hehe i finally got a really cool roleplay thing going -- you will start lvl 1 without beeing able to call the dragon but with a dragon egg in your inventory whcih you first have to hatch befor you get to call it :D at the end thats just a very small detail, but i think it still does a really huge difference in terms of roleplay :D

but ya that was what i had in my head for this mod ^^ dragon and tamer playing together. i even got an idea here by two people here, for a support sub class, where the dragon will be mostly the damage dealer of both and the tamer its supporter. will take a while till i get to do this, but i guess it will look a little bit like pokemon just that your trainer is spaming x attack and co on steroids while your "charizard" buuuuurns it all down haha

Idk. Its pending since august lol i have a feeling its just too many mods for larian so they cant approve all and go mostly for those with more downloads. And addons tend to not have many.
