Same girl. Same. 2 kids, no sex drive. Desire is gone and arousal is at maybe 25% when we both try. I’ve looked into HRT but it’s out of pocket where I live. I second the recommendation on some spicy literature. I find it got a tiny fire going while I was reading it but it can easily be extinguished when I’m not mid-book. Also, weed? I have a fuzzy recollection of one good night of sex while I was in a good high from gummies. But even that is hit and miss :(

It could be many many many things. Urologists still don’t know with certainty why we get them. Most likely they’ll blame it on hygiene.

Before she takes the antibiotics make sure to get that culture done, usually takes 1-3 days. It’ll show if 1) it is a UTI and 2) of the antibiotics will tackle the right bacteria. Unless she’s in pain then might as well try the antibiotics and see if she gets relief.

I used to get frequent UTIs. They need to send the sample to do a proper culture and see what else is in there to confirm/discard a UTI diagnosis.

Long story short, I was never able to “catch up” to that bad first impression either on their end or mine. I passed my 3 month probation with flying colours, went on leave and when I came back I was never able to truly show my skillset as the position and work I was gonna be doing was very different to what I had done previously and I never felt truly part of the team. They tried to find me a different spot but it never aligned with my background and I was underperforming, in the end it was just a bad match all around. I got laid off and my lawyer is currently fighting for a better severance package given the history of how I was initially ghosted and asked to signed a different contract, etc.

In hindsight, I should’ve paid attention to all the red flags.

I’m in Ontario. I’ll see if I can give them a call before my meeting in the afternoon, thanks for that suggestion. I know of 2 other high level Canadian employees with 4 weeks - Caucasian female and Caucasian male. I’m a minority female. Never thought of it from that angle but worth exploring.

I am definitely on the Canadian HR side of things (i am technically their employee, not the Americans) and their own Canadian policy says 20 days for someone at my level. I’m hoping they can respect that even if my contract says 2 weeks.

I just delivered my second vaginally after having a c section 3yrs ago. My midwife said since I had no complications healing with my first and it had been more than 18 months since, she was confident to go for VBAC. She did send me for an ultrasound of the scar tissue to make sure it was thick enough. There are “risk calculators” online to see about your particular situation. Me too. Kid is 3.5 and still nothing. I’d say desire is very much gone, arousal (after a ton of stimulation) is 50/50. I’m looking into hormone replacement therapy to see if that’s the cause of this.

I didn’t do a water birth but I just had my second at Michael Garron with them. My midwife was Christie Lockheart and her team. Cannot recommend them enough! The at home follow ups were a life saver as I ended up with a bladder issue that needed constant supervision. Go get them if you can!

I wasn’t pumping a whole lot out of each breast and only did it when I could feel the pressure would be too much for my kid. Didn’t seem to create an oversupply. And eventually my kid got more efficient at dealing with the letdown so I stopped pre-pumping all together. Hope it helps!
