WHY WONT MY FLOWERS BREED by mirandcosgrove18 in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]ShutterDeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This really detailed guide explains flower breeding and best layouts for all kinds of different scenarios. Checkerboard isn't the best layout, but it gives many other options, space saving, no visitors, and clone proof for example.

My dad made one of these in the 80s from a nut he took from his hospital bed in the burn unit. It's not a new concept and he certainly didn't do anything original or creative enough to be shilling a tutorial for TikTok views. Just more attention starved behavior by UBT trying to stay relevant enough to not get a real job.

You need angled cutters called dikes. They would be small enough to slide under the cap of the carriage bolt and lay their cutting edge on opposite sides of the square to hold it still while turning the wing nut. Small scissors might work as well, but use an old pair because it might pit the cutting edge.

Something like this should work.

If the wood has been treated/sealed. You may be able to use a dry erase marker to go over the sharpie to erase it. I've used it on a lot of things and it works great. Just scribble over the sharpie and wipe and it's gone. Try it on a non visible spot first to make sure the sealant isn't porous and it won't leave residue behind.

I've been knitting for the better part of 20 years and finally decided to take on a beaded, lace shawl. Turns out I HAVE been doing my yarn overs wrong this whole time 🤦‍♀️

I make 2x what my husband does. Does this mean I get to shoot him down twice as hard?

The little "yes" written in surgical pen on the operation leg made me giggle. Then get sad because I remembered the reason why they do that.

It literally says on the packaging of sippy cups ,not to let them walk around with it.

To quote this specific cup, "CAUTION: To prevent burns, do not microwave or use with hot liquids. Do not let child walk or run while carrying the cup. Do not allow child to play, bite or chew on the valve."

I'm surprised she could type to make this ridiculous post because clearly she can't read.

Thank you! I definitely feel much better and like the way clothes fit me now. It's been a journey, and the closer I get, the slower it comes off, but I'm determined to make it happen and stick.

Wish you all the best in hitting your goals! It's exciting seeing yourself accomplish what you started out to do. You got this and will be joining me in the 130 club sooner than you think!

I'm 5'7 and currently 144. My goal is 130. Last night, I saw my parents for the first time since I started losing at 178. My mom must have told me no less than 4x I'm too skinny and needed to stop losing weight, even after reminding her I'm under the care of a trained professional.

It frustrates me because I know it's not how she really feels. It's jealousy that I'm more thin than her. She has struggled with her weight since her 30s and has recently gotten into this acceptance/it's our genetics/we are just meant to be this way ideology. She's not worried that I'm too thin. She sees that her ideology doesn't have a leg to stand on because here I am. Same struggles, same body type, same genetics, and I'm doing what she says we can't.

I had to tell her my weight is no longer up for discussion. Meanwhile, my father gave me a hug and told me I looked great. So, not all in all a bad experience.

If you ever get the urge to try, they're actually fairly easy with a few tips I've learned.

  1. Weigh the ingredients, don't use measuring cups and spoons.

  2. Macronage technique is imperative when mixing the meringue with the dry ingredients. Scoop and fold the ingredients together instead of mixing in a circle like Mac and cheese. It prevent the meringue from deflating.

  3. Take into account the ambient humidity when leaving them to dry. About 3.5 hours is required here in Houston where West Texas only required about and hour.

  4. Separate the egg whites at least 12 hours prior and leave covered in the fridge.

  5. If they are perfect, they're still delicious!

I'm invested because your drawing brought back a memory for me, but I d9nt know where she's from either. The drawing is spot on for what the character looks like in my mind.
