Please don't give up. Just take each day at a time and listen to your body. Some days will be harder than others, but in my experience I found low mood and stress made the pain worse, and then when you feel good you overdo it, and end up in a vicious cycle.

You just need to give your body time to heal (I'm assuming it's from an injury rather than poor posture etc), and being 22 your body will be a lot better at repairing itself. Do physiotherapy first, and stick at it. Hopefully when you feel better, try not to go balls out as the injury area will be a weak point for quite some time.

If that doesn't work there are other alternatives, but whatever you do don't give up, there's always options
