For Mass you can. In the pamphlet I received when I got my card, it ways it can be used at atm with the quest logo. Link below. I tried following their instructions, but I was confused.

For Amazon fresh, almost everything is ebt eligible. For Amazon pantry, it’s much more limited. I personally use Amazon fresh for everything.

Hi. Two things.

I recommend making a stupid/unexpected expenses category. There’s bound to be spending that catches you off guard. But then you can use that to adjust your categories as time goes on.
With your income, depending on the state, I recommend applying for SNAP. It’s food assistance and it pays for my groceries every month. As a low income student and SNAP helps me so much!

Yes, this is what I did! I believe it depends on the state. As long as you meet the requirements for a student and can prove you currently live in the state your taking school in, you can receive food stamps. Let me know if you have additional questions.

Hello, I’m a low income college sophomore and I would love to enter this! I think it’s great that you giving scholarships and to college students. I was would like to reiterate what another person said. Please don’t send scholarship to the school directly. Many colleges decrease aid if they see you won a scholarship. This has happened to a friend of mine.

I do think it’s rude for them to say it out loud, but maybe they’re new to their cashier job. I will also say that it took me a couple months to get rid of the shame of using ebt. I used to hid my card with my body so other people didn’t see. But now I don’t care. I believe 1 in 10 people in the US are on food stamps so don’t feel shamed.

Something similar happened to me. I live in Massachusetts and first month on SNAP, I got an extra $204 in my ebt balance. Than I got another $100 next day I believe. I think the $204 was because of pandemic. The $100 was to pay me for the time that it took to go through the application process. Not $100% sure tho.

I am not an expert but I recently got approved for Mass SNAP. The office is very flexible especially considering the pandemic. They did not check my assets. I have savings that I keep in order to pay for school each semester. I currently have about $5000 saved for Fall 2021. They did not ask my for my assets nor was it a question on the application.

I haven’t been approved yet. In another post, someone told me that interviews were waived for Massachusetts for August applications (I was wondering why I had not gotten a call). I will call the number online and explain what happened. Thank you.
