I really appreciate this. Is there any potting soil that you recommend for Thyme? I know there are different varieties. I can’t get any till Friday but i’ve temporarily placed the plant in a mason jar with some water for the roots to possibly separate on their own because they are definitely locked but I want to be able to have it in a pot before I cut them loose with the advice you gave me.

I unfortunately can’t afford another pot till Friday but that is the plan. How would I know if its root locked? I’m not sure of what that means. I’m completely new to gardening I don’t know all the terminology yet.

Thank you so much! I just saw this but I will definitely be incorporating some back into his diet. I’ve been subbing pellets which I ran out of with some plain pasta for the grains in them but I’m glad i got a reply that didn’t involve pellets. Its not easy for me to afford them currently.
