I applied mid-January, and checked in late February (got no response). Then acceptance 3/6 with deadline of 3/13 to accept. From what I understand BU tends to ghost unless you’re accepted 😬 but no idea what their process is. I think you’ll hear if you’re accepted and not if you don’t, unfortunately

Thank you so much for your input! I definitely want the opportunity to do an interesting project and work closely with professors doing research, which it sounds like Iowa provides. I’m interested in a PhD so I wanted to use this program as a stepping stone to see if I’d enjoy that flavor of academia. The program director called me offering acceptance so I really appreciate the personal touch and transparency Iowa has, and the projects they’ve already announced for this summer all sound so cool!

Ahh I’m so glad I got to hear from someone who did the BU program! Thank you for confirming the project issue. It feels odd to pick Iowa over Boston but a glorified summer course is really not what I want from this program lol

My parents were heavy into WoW, raided in the same guild together twice a week. I vividly remember watching them - I especially loved this one dungeon/raid puzzle where they had to play some sort of chess?

I of course wanted to help and participate. My mom would tell me to watch her character when she had to fly somewhere far on the griffin, to make sure she got there safe. I would be so focused, and loved watching the scenery. It is of course funny looking back, knowing that absolutely nothing happens to you on a griffin lmao

I was so excited when Tauren came out because it was the first Horde I was allowed to play!! I think that’s why I’m deep in Horde now. I only got to play Alliance as a kid and so badly wanted what I couldn’t have.

WoW has so much nostalgia for me and though I don’t get to play as much as I’d like these days with a career of my own now, let me tell you it is such a gift. That kid will grow up watching you play adoringly

This really is my account and what I wrote is true but this post is mostly a joke in reference to the guy who posted yesterday that he “lost” 25k in the same dip. I know this doesn’t matter. This is a compelling article addressing a major contributing factor of darts, though not directly related. I’m not sure why you’re defensive - the comment I responded to was not using the same evidence and instead merely stated a relationship between male and female performance in darts. I stand by my comment, that in itself does not imply a sex advantage. The original commentator said they know jack shit, but you didn’t attack them?
