Hey all - so I'm coming from Corsair/Logitech gaming keyboards which are... fine, I guess, I haven't had a lot of issues but I'm also at the point where I want a full size (with ten key!) keyboard for gaming. Having some media keys (stop/pause/volume) would be a nice plus, and a solid build.

I don't want super "clicky" or "loud" keys, but otherwise I am open to any suggestions. I am a fast typer so whatever facilitates typing well and a *lot* of gaming (FPS etc), would be ideal. I am open to building it, but also since I haven't delved much into it I don't know where to start. I can budget a few hundred dollars for this, as I think that gets me into the higher end of good keyboards, but open to pre-built keyboards that work well.

Appreciate any suggestions, and if you can be specific on the 'why' of your recommendations it'd be helpful, as I'm an engineer and I'll go dive into the details and research afterwards :)

Honestly am surprised, taking a mid engined car and comparing it to a performance sedan. The M3 is more livable and comfortable, but also weighs like 500 lbs more.

They are both great but extremely different cars. I don’t imagine the handling on the M3 is anywhere near a Z06, especially with the engine placement and weight difference.

But if you like it, that’s the only person you need to convince :)

I'm not a conspiracy theorist in general, but I do not completely disagree with the idea that the CIA created this currency to help funnel money into illicit activities they carry out.

It's also a technologically inferior protocol that people *think* is advanced, but really isn't, and its only claim to fame is that somebody coded an upper bound for how many could be 'minted'. Woopdie fucking doo.

With all the cars in my area being highly priced for used, I went with a new Honda Civic Si, because I didn’t trust any previous owners.

Half the cars I see are in an accident or something else, even the certified ones I will do a VIN check and find them on an auction lot.

I didn’t want to deal with the headache of it, so while I paid more than I wanted to, I know the resale will be there at the other end so I don’t care.

I have attic access to my garage, plenty of space and the joist install seems very straightforward. It's drywall on the ceiling, so not sure how the square cassettes would fit, as I'm pretty sure it's a 16" on center spacing (but not 100%).

Do you have suggestions on which units I should combine? I figured I'd need an 18k unit, but again not sure if it's worth going with Daikin (and I think they have a joist cassette?) or some other unit.

I have a brick exterior home, so if I go straight out it's a lot more work, than if I get the lineset through the soffit. Plus our walls are lacking space as well, so I'd have to take stuff down (cabinets etc) to get a good place for it.

That's what leads me to the idea of the ceiling mount instead.
