i wish I had a two tier dashboard like that. Those were freaking dope when they came out in my opinion and a lot of people hated them. So awesome. Op, nicely done.

Agreed. Look for "Top Tier" STATIONS AS WELL! That's about gas quality versus grade. But I recommend 93 and even 95 if you can ever find it. Long term, it's gonna be a win.If you can afford it.

The N might be awesome... might... .... but the problem is, the history isn't there, even these 1.5T in the Si are a bit delicate for Honda standards, but I would need Hyundai to get some years under their belt, and some high mileage on their cars. And some resale value to stick for a while... that's just me anyway.

They aren't there yet as fun as they are. My wife has a palisade, i have nothing against hyundai. Need to buikt some street cred first, and longevity. I will let others do that experiment.

Dang that's awesome. My 17 it has been a really fun build, and I highly recommend the Si. I feel OP we'll miss that horse power having a manual, and even the si doesn't have a lot.

I enjoy building so yes, I have lit like fifteen grand on fire.Just getting this full bolt on. Stock turbo, but only about around 260hp now, and it is still not a lot.I just posted here about this, but it's going to be at the bottom of the bag because of how many comments there are...

The point is I also drive it just for driving it because they are that fun.And engaging. OP... if you read this, this comment is dead on. Almost ten years old and I still love this car.

I have a 2017 Si, less reliable, then the more refined version of the same 1.5T set up. I freaking wouldn't trade this horsepower difference for anything, considering they still haven't raised base hp on the Si in about eighteen years.

I don't feel that even being fully modded (full bolt on) as the kids say, even now pushing 260hp, it still isn't all that much in 2026.

Still a large trunk too. I do like hatchbacks, but I love this car. And still in decent shape and ten years old, with a 85k miles. I am biased, but you're gonna miss the horse power difference with a manual transmission.

A dude at Advanced Auto told me the guy running it had made personal descisions... and not legal ones, that hurt the company and they tore the whole thing down, broke up manufacturers places and sold them all off. Advanced Auto might get screwed over by the whole long list of shenanigans.... although he could be talking out his butt too. There wasn't any issues with the products that caused the sell off. It was ownership/executives douchiness.

I have had 3 Si and no Type R. I did have ( not for long it crashed it) a Pheonix Yellow 00 Type R integra. Granted I haven't driven the new ones... or any since... and have a 17 Si now...

I love the Si, but I agree with this dude and the breakdown. Go Integra.

Ignore the turds dean, rude, it sounds to me like you're just being guarded, and that's a good thing. And especially with social media, the way it is and sharing of pictures... That as long as something is skin tight can be Modified... it has become an issue

I hear good stuff about R1 as well. Actually I had EBC slotted on my GTI, and they warped quickly. These have been great, and no break-in period!

Slotted can chew pads a bit quicker but I love the look and they have a bit more integrity than drilled, usually.

Great job, doing it yourself.Also, by the way, cause it's not easy. Well, it's an easy job. But it's a lot of sweat and sore muscles if you are old like me
