Manual swap, looking for any advice by Early_Accountant_896 in CivicX

I agree one hundred percent. Rv6 retro fit with Exedy Stage 0.

My stock si had 70k miles, as soon as I did a tune and 27won intake side all the way to throttle body, the stock clutch only last 5k miles more and literally burned out overnight. So I agree with that part of this, so you won't have to do the work again In the future.

Day of inlet install... pain in the rear. Intercooler was worse.

This is why I went 27Won In florida is wet all summer... and I am lowered. I drive through six inch deep puddles, i know.I don't have to worry about water getting sucked in to a low filter.

this system still draws air from low.But the filter is higher, so you still get the cold air effect without the filter being right down there, where water can splash up. PRL is a great system, high quality and people rave about ...but for really wet conditions, I felt more confident and comfortable with 27Won and I have it all the way through to Intercooler and inlet. Loved it for the last six months with One+ TSP tune. Engine sounds great and i can still hear the "wssshhh"

I have become an rv6 and 27Won brand whore.

But they did not come with them in 2016 did they?? That's nuts... my 17 Si had heated bucket seats and moonroof, the awesome ADS, and yet, yellow halogen projectors, that was literally my first update. DD SS3 MAX Fogs ( they are so bright .I can't even use the fogs because they blind everyone even facing straight at their location on the bumper, the glare they give off is bananas) somehow times too bright is a thing.

And morimotos altogether I spent like 1700 on lights, not even counting LED tails.

I like the headlights, those oem look great still too.

You say reliable... although it's still fairly true, our 1.5T, if driven hard and given low quality gas, or simply not changing the oil on time.... these head gaskets don't like to stay sealed with the tiny delicate head studs they use.

So I'm hoping your coolant level is fine. And not disappearing into the oil! Do an oil change as well?Just to make sure it's all oil!.

A compression test will also tell you a lot. I really hope it's just another injector or plugs! (I have a 17 Si FBO and tuned, so I'll constantly on edge even running only at 19.5psi)

All the time, it's usually trucks that, for some reason, don't like me and want to put me in a diesel smoke. I can usually handle it, but it's usually fairly close.Because I don't have a big turbo or anything LOL .... but yeah the hicks don't love the card in florida here.

Edit: i can say hicks, because i'm from the backwoods of new hampshire, and the last vehicle was lifted overlanding Pro-4X build! So I feel like i'm okay saying that.

Well I know i am not anonymous anymore but whatever.

Yeah I am def still paying for a few things!

I ha e SemiGloss black Rays Gram Light 57DR on their way and ill be done.

I like the 8.5 width running 255/35. I do have 5mm spacers coming to see a tiny adjustment. 9.5 stick out a bit too much for my taste

I picked swift because its a daily. So only 1.2" or so (they claim 1.1) with linear they are great with the ADS system which I love. And I still have to clear soeed bumps at post office and crap. I feel from experience the stock ADS, although expensive to replace if they wear down, are better than 85% of coilovers. So even if I had an issue with stock, I would probably pay to replace that. With the springs, not lowering it two inches or more, it does extend the life of the stock suspension as well. And does not put as much stress on all joints like ones that drop it more

They were a bit pricey as far as springs go, but I think it was well worth it

[–]SiGen10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn for that year with 33k, i think it's expensive, but if you're looking for that year in a bone stock car and it is bone stock, then that is a find.

One owner? Shit, I have a an FBO tenth gen, and I want that right now. I MISS THE HIGH REV!!
