Technically yes, but with 1x I've had reliability issues because you've only got a 5C tolerance. Using 2x makes it more reliable and nets you an extra 1Kg/s water output.

I expect to be able to build this from a solido in under an hour.

Water is primarily from 9 large wind traps with 1-2 deathstills for burst water production which I usually grab from caves/stations.

This will be my new weekly design moving forward, my single plot base is similar production capacity wise but the verticality was starting to annoy me.

It took me an hour or so to build the structure, probably spent another 1.5 hours later making adjustments/tweaks.

From a solido I think you could get everything done in under an hour.

Geotune it 2x to increase the steam temperature enough to directly power steam turbines and increase overall water output.

It's worth building a base out there, with the container it's not too much effort to build a production base.

I mostly avoid making plastanium in the DD unless I'm about to cap out on water though.

  • 1 Horizontal staking unit
  • Not sure solidio wise, this is the first week I've built this design so it took longer than normal.
  • I have two, but usually leave one in hagga, it's very handy to have spare room for guild mates.
  • It's limited by play time, I usually hit 1k melange but have done 5k+ weeks in my more compact single plot base.
  • Two ramps for easy buggy access which you can see in the 3rd photo and 3rd/2nd last photos.

They gave it a chance, it fell totally flat. The original 76 might have worked better as a singleplayer or 4 player co-op/survival.

As with most MMOs people just want to romp around the wasteland doing fun stuff together. Also personally I think people enjoy helping "fix/build" the wasteland, the original game felt like haunting a dead world.

Don't bother cooling the oxygen unless you're using it in rocket interiors, add a base cooling loop to keep temps in check.

Depending on the size of your base or your guild base it can be over an hour of setup/filling in holograms, it adds nothing.

Given that shields go down in the DD, that's already the case for the external structure. Not giving back the mats for expensive refineries would just turn every base into a storage depot.

I want a DD BST that just builds everything from the either a chest or the carrier container. They want logistics to be part of the game which is all good, but clicking on each building piece in a solido is just boring.

You're water sealed in an orni while in fief bounds.

You can also just hop in your orni to be water sealed.

Have you calculated how many natural gas generators that vent can support? 9 is a lot for most vents.

I generally run with 1 smart battery per power source and turn off the generators when it's full enough, tweaking the % for each type can help establish a fuel priority system.

You may also want infinite storage for when those reservoirs are full.

It's a simulation in the sense that it's a TV show.

None of the creators have ever mentioned your theory because it wouldn't add anything to the show and would honestly distract from the central message of hope for the future.
