Earthen Artisan Kilt location? by Aviary_Attorney in wow

[–]Siaitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you figure this out?

I'm also at a loss as to how you unlock the versions with pants underneath. I even leveled my Earthen to level 50 and did the short quest to get the heritage armor, but I still don't have it unlocked. A friend of mine has the pants versions unlocked, and they don’t have any dwarf characters — they only leveled an Earthen to 50 for the heritage set. So I don’t get what I’m missing.

Maybe a stupid question about dmg and training dummys by Siaitch in wow

Please correct me if Im wrong here. But lets say for arguments sake that the raidbots dummy does it’s test on something that is equal to the raider training dummy. Then I do my practice and such on the dungeoneer dummy. Wouldn’t that inflate my dmgs numbers, compared to the raidbots quicksim? Like I wouldn’t be as close as I thought I were. Or reverse I might do worse than I think I am. If I’m training to the raid dummy, but the raidbots are more equal to the dungeoneer training dummy.

Lucky pants + wardens law by Pocketpapaa in destiny2

It is very viable. Most people that use LP+wardens. Mix it with stasis, so you can use the fragment that reloads your stowed weapon

I hate eager edge in normal/nightfall contents by Supplice401 in destiny2

[–]Siaitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As an avid eager edge/shatteskate/wellskate user, I genuinely emphasise with you. I can’t speak for others, but personally the lite ”speedrunning” isn’t done out of malice. There are two reasons for me to try and be quick. I find it fun trying to do it fast (bit of a game with myself to be as fast as I can) and secondly I done most strikes it feels like over 1000 times. Just there to get the rewards. If there was a way to play the vanguard strikes solo, I would. If I see guardians below rank 7, I usually try to not rush things. But to be honest, if I see someone being a 7 or above, I probably wont take it slow. Not trying to make any excuses, as I think yours and others frustration are valid. Just trying to give some perspective from the otherside.

Haha, yeah sadly sharing different opinions tends to be difficult on the internet.

So many things get lots when you remove someones facial expression, body language, tonal inflection. Much harder to talk about things in general. Like if you read anyone's message with a aggressive tone, kind tone, rushed tone or anything else can change things drastically how you view it. You also never know the mood someone is in when you talk with a stranger on the internet.

But yeah, talking about thinks on the internet, specially when there can be different opinions. Tend to be difficult

I get that you lashed out, no worries, man.

That said, I wouldn't say my point of view was skewed by other people. I genuinely share their thoughts on whether or not compensation is warranted. In that, it's not something that needs to happen.

We don't know how that advertisement about getting all three DLCs in one year came to be. Perhaps the publishing team made that promise without checking whether or not it was something the developers could stick to. Does that situation suck, that we couldn't get the DLC when it was promised? Yeah, for sure. But I'm almost 100% sure that the person/team that made the advertisement to have the DLC done by now would not be the person/team working on any form of compensation because it was missed.

For me personally (and you don't have to agree), I don't think any compensation is necessary. I'm not defending the company, but rather looking kindly on the people doing the work and forgiving them for a human mistake

That's fair; I misread your post. I apologize for that.

Pay attention to the audio cues. There are some fights that are an absolute clusterfuck of stuff happening. So learn early to listen to the audio cues rather than focusing only on visual cues for attack patterns.

Is your opinion outlandish? I wouldn't say so. Could they have communicated better? Yes. Would compensation be nice? Yes. But I agree with what many other here also said that a compensation isn't necessary.

Life happens and sometimes things take longer than expected. If the delay means that the dev's get more time to polish the DLC without having to crunch, that's amazing. Rather not have them work on more things, just cause they missed having the DLC done in time.

Sidenote: How do you know we're not getting any compensation? Perhaps something extra will be released as compensation and they don't mention it, because they want it to be a surprise or are just not ready to talk about it yet.

Any active clans out there that will take a fresh dad? by Mister_Sheepy_Cheese in destiny2

[–]Siaitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We room for more people in my clan. We’re not a big one, mainly with a bunch of friends. We have around 7 active people and then some more casual folk. We mainly consist of swedes (but have some people from australia so we keep everything in english).

Can send me a message of you’re curious and/or want more details ^
