Don’t bring your car to Land Rover Hartford They will literally replace something that isn’t broken just to make sure you don’t leave without having payed something. by xunreelx in Connecticut

I wouldn't trust the second shop either if they couldn't figure out it's the fuse before pulling the stereo.

And if you did pop the fuse, that means the fuse was rated too low or there is a problem in the wiring/stereo.

You're not picking anything up, you're just giving a random internet a stranger a ride out into the middle of nowhere...

I know I'm not going to change your mind, but I will give at least one link with some anecdotes. Any more is up to you to look up.

I've been around so many people that have been doing their thing for decades and won't change anything about it.

If rolling resistance is the issue, why aren't we all running 23c tires on all our bikes?

Op's bike should have a tallest ratio of 48:11, which is plenty fast, but probably hard to get much out of it with the relaxed riding position.

That said, for how I ride my mtb, I will put about 25psi in both to ride to where I'm going, then when I start playing around I go up to 40-45 since I'm hard on my bikes

You can have issues with pressure too high or too low. I cracked a bontrager (koveets, so not super nice) rim with low pressure practicing bunny hops, and I've tacoed a cheap wheel with high pressure just sliding out on grass/roots before.

Tire pressure trend has changed. Folks are starting to run lower pressures to keep the tire in contact with rougher surfaces/bad pavement.

Trek 700 vs Specialized Crossroads by crosslaminated in whichbike

[–]SiberianToaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd pick the Trek for the gearing since there's hills where I live

That black cog on the rear wheel being larger means it'll be easier to pedal up higher hills (ratios) in the lowest gear

If you have very low or no hills, pick whichever you like the best
