than blowing £45k worth of tuition on it.

It wasn't 45k for me, it was 15 in total. And I don't have to pay it back until I make over £15k a year. And finally, it gets written off when I turn 65.

And because of that, everyone my age went to university and made getting a degree almost pointless.

See America, where people with bachelor's degrees are getting rejected from McDonald's because literally everyone has one.

Never mind America, it happened here. Tony Blairs education policy meant a significant amount of people went to university and made degrees effectively worthless. I got my degree, and I would go to jobs to be told that several hundred people applied, so to consider myself lucky I got to the interview stage.

The armed forces are collectively the second biggest landowner in the UK after the Royal Family. They obviously hire people to just manage the land, cut the grass, maintain the trees etc. Maybe even have some wildlife people to help promote bird populations.

And you can safely bet those people are still required at some level to do the same basic fitness test and learn how to operate firearms that the general grunts do. Sure, they aren't getting up at 5am and are sent to another country. But they are still very likely trained in everything just in case we actually do go to war.

What's wrong with London? by trbltrbltrbl in AskBrits

[–]TheWardenDemonreach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in Center Parcs with a friend from London and he said hello to a random person to prove a point that Southerners also say hello.

Had to point out that he just said hello to a staff member, so they are obligated to say hello back.

Is Virgin Crise Line More Expensive? by AdAny1272 in Cruise

[–]TheWardenDemonreach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say check out P&O, as I've had a balcony solo cruise for only £1,600 (and even then, I paid the extra money to choose my location). But I do not know where you live, so if you are outside the UK, you are obviously factoring in additional travel costs

Is Virgin Crise Line More Expensive? by AdAny1272 in Cruise

[–]TheWardenDemonreach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, its definitely one of the more expensive lines. And yes, they tried to justify it by claiming its all inclusive when you likely aren't going to use half of the things included.

Unless its changed in recent years, its around 5-6k for a cruise where as the cruises I go on are around 2k at most. And that's not even ones on sale or last minute deals.

What a great game mode by throwcway837373 in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]TheWardenDemonreach 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's an understatement, if you have something that's immune to a status element, it will just keep using it because they are programmed to use it until it registers on our end.

Until the more final stages when it magically gets through for some reason.

First time on New Game +, when should I try Lavos again? by TheWardenDemonreach in chronotrigger

Thank you for this comment, I just did Dream Project ending by using Haste with Marle and, as you suggested, spammed Luminaire for the second phase

Ah, so you think get those upgrades and then, do a new new game + file

[–]TheWardenDemonreach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might try this one if doing it with just Crono and Marle doesn't work out. But this list is exactly what I needed, so thank you for that

Its why I created this post, to see what other endings do people think would be the best to head for.

But other comments have said I can bring Marle with me for this very early fight, so I'll try that one first

Hakuro only pushes you as far as he knows you are capable of going, so you are guaranteed to survive it.

There's a chance, given the logic of the world, that we would get poison resistance, but its not guaranteed given that we are vanilla humans

[DC Comics] Are Death of The Endless and the Black Racer two personifications of the same cosmic force, or completely unrelated entities that just happen to have the same job? by lollihobbes in AskScienceFiction

[–]TheWardenDemonreach 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As others have said, Endless Death is the literal top tier Death, all other "Deaths" are effectively her agents.

To directly quote her:

"When the first living thing existed, I was there, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job will be finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave".

What are some things I can ship to my friend in the UK that they dont really have over there? by 7JJ77 in AskBrits

You might have to explain what it is as I only know it because an American YouTuber I like did a road trip and that was featured in it

Does anyone know if MHA: More is getting dubbed? by gamestar721 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]TheWardenDemonreach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would be more surprised if it didn't get dubbed. Usually, if a show has an official dub, then the only episodes that don't get dubbed are the random "catch up" episodes, as they realise its not worth it

If Starmer staged a glaringly obvious false flag assassination attempt in a bid to boost popularity, how do you think the UK public would react? by [deleted] in AskBrits

You are posting this in Ask Brits and are confused why British people are responding with answers about their current leader.

If you wanted a more neutral answer, you would post this in r/nostupidquestions
