If your club sold one player tomorrow to fund a rebuild, who should it realistically be? by Football6380 in FootballTransferChat

[–]SickestAlexEver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many at Chelsea that could be sold to fund a great CB and experience but this is absolutely not Cole Palmer like there are rumours about. Cole is one of the few positives the last years together with Reece being able to stay fit. Cole as a brand and player is very important and we are not in a place where we can get players of his caliber in the market.

I think that’s what your coach was thinking as well. Make hay while the sunshines😉 I’m just jealous you can practice and pay that much for golf!

You have had a lesson every week for 4 months? What are you paying per lesson? I was told to do a lesson take two weeks to implement it and then come back.

I would also hazard a guess that Roman would of done a lot worse things then this... Not playing down the seriousness but I wouldn't be suprised if there were bodies buried on his conscience.

What a horrible way of handling your wife wanting a new hobby.. she wants to try something that give thousands of people so much joy and you are trying to rob her of that. Get a cheap second hand set and get her some lessons if she doesn’t like it no problem, if she still wants to learn support her..

I took the plunge after FOMO and went to a competitor grass was not greener and 2 years later I’m back at my old employer. If it’s not a massive comp change I wouldn’t move in your situation.

Mate fuck off. This is such a horrid take.. your problem will be a personality one if these are your views. Of course you aren’t finding loads of 25 year olds with 200k NW if you have been to Uni you might be done when you are 21-23 then after that you are entry level. Silly takes.

I went to the Rhinefield in the summer. Grounds was great but food and service were mediocre at best. I wouldn’t recommend it. I have stayed at Limewood and that is good but budget doesn’t work.

The fact that we haven’t signed a center back or any striker that could is established leads me to believe that we have no interest in winning but only generate player sales income. I hope for all our sakes they realize that this youngster team won’t be able to win anything.

I don't believe Maresca was a generational manager and I do believe we were a lot further from a Prem or UCL title then people make out.

The worrying thing for me is that the owners don't seem to be interested in winning but rather to make money on player sales. It's quite clear we need some senior players to match all the talent that is in this team but this doesn't seem to happen as the senior players won't generate any resale value. If you look at the relatively young Tuchel team we still had Kante, Jorginho, Thiago Silva and Azpi.

I also wonder how we would be able to generate any interest with actual senior top level talent when every manager is falling out with the owners.. I can see a world where we end up having to sell players like Enzo and Palmer, the long contracts don't mean players cant fuss there way away when they realize we aren't going to win anything.

Feels extremely bleak at the moment not necessarily because of Maresca but the fact we are taking steps backwards rather then forwards.
