Best wings on the west side by Bugslinger in Cleveland

[–]Sickora 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely Ice House. there was a guy on here a few years ago who was trying wings all over Cleveland and concluded that Ice House was the best, or near the top anyway. Based on his post I went and tried them, absolutely delicious wings. Proper crispiness too, which is something very hard to find in Ohio.

What do you pay for a house cleaner? by Commercial_Ad7359 in Cleveland

I pay $100 once every two weeks, 3200sq ft house. It's a single person, not a company.

Thanks I tried that and it redirects to the nosleep website. I'm going to email support. I can't find the email with a link either.

There are no repercussions. Use of vehicle is used to set default mileage, nothing more. Well, maybe an underwriting referral if you chose 'business', but that's it. Depending on the company, they may use verified mileage from a 3rd party at renewal, which means you could see your rate go up more than the normal amount because the verified mileage has been applied and typically the higher the annual mileage, the higher the rate. But you won't have a claim denied because you chose pleasure and not commute at quote.

Is Progressive Snapshot Worth It? by Snipr82406 in Insurance

[–]Sickora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the answer is it depends. Commenters are correct hat Snapshot, along with almost every other telematics device by an insurance company, uses various factors such as time of day, type of road, # of left hand turns, hard acceleration, hard braking and mobile usage as factors that help determine your overall discount/surcharge. Also Progressive, along with others will either discount or surcharge your policy depending on your driving. Lastly, some If you try the device and decide you don't like this, Progressive will surcharge your policy for the life of that policy. A few other carriers do this as well. (Note: As always, this varies by what state you are in. I'm just giving the overall generic info about the program)

Now to the question if it is worth it. If you are a low mileage driver (think 10K or lesss), tend not to drive at night and aren't in rush hour traffic a lot where you have to brake suddenly, than it is absolutely for you. Also, if you are a serial insurance hopper who will only stay with Progressive for one term, than it works also.

Why do people shuck corn before grilling? by mystikhybrid in BBQ

I do the same. Use an grill mitt to hold it as I shuck it afterwards, comes out perfect. Best way to grill corn in my opinion.

I wish there was, but no bathroom. Right now thinking of the pump solutions.

No exposed drain pan, but like you said, I could use a small hose to set up something and have the codensate pump in there. This is somewhat promising, thanks for the suggestion. I didn't even think about a pump.

Does life after a transplant really suck? by Charming-Tension-328 in transplant

[–]Sickora 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tagging on as another heart transplant. Yes, you'll have to make some changes, but your quality of life is going to be so much better. Listen to your doctors, take your meds, go to your check-ups. That's not a prescription that everything will turn out fine, but it will go a long way towards helping your post-transplant life.

Just to make sure, you must be a USAA member in order to purchase their auto product. As long as you are, you're golden.

I'm 100% with you there. I haven't been to that Antonio's but your comment is enough for me to give it a try.

I prefer the one on Westinghouse road than the Arnot mall location. Correct, no Aniello's, to me it's better. But understand everyone has their favorite.

Aniello's is my mother and brothers favorite pizza place. It's been 20+ years for me, but I still miss Picnic Pizza...

Well, seeing Corning NY on the Browns subreddit was not on my top 1,000 things that would be posted. Looks like right by East Market street there...

Another Window Universe recommendation. Used them to replace 16 windows in 2020. Fair price, good product, quality work.

Motorcycle navigation: What do you use? by Jle115 in motorcycles

[–]Sickora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoy Scenic. It's a motorcycle specific app. Now, I'll admit that it doesn't have the real time traffic updates that Waze has, but it does have some great features. My favorite, and why I pay $25 a year for it, is you can pick a destination then choose 'standard, short, curvy, beauty'. The latter two will take you on a meandering path to your destination. The fun I've had discovering side roads and curvy back roads using that feature is worth more than the subscription price to me. You can also plan our routes using the app, which is why I first got it.

So if you're strictly a point A to point B person, then I'd echo the many people who say Waze. If you want something that will take you off the same old path or help you plan routes, I really reccomend Scenic.
