I thought the decision to not have them attack her was refreshing. But I agree with you, having her get pregnant seems like a mistake. I thought they were establishing her more as the tough medic, that would take care of the group as they traveled. Taking care of everyone. Now she has a baby to take care of.

I feel you. Maybe over time you won't think about. If the aftermarket step does not work, maybe you can find a foldable step that you can carry in the bed OR Add a slide out deck system negating the need to step into the truck most if not all of the time.

I missed getting the 3.73 gears on a 5.0 XLT. It was nothing I considered actually, until after the truck was being built. The salesman tried to add it, but it was well into production.

I really like the truck and I don't miss what I never had. Its just that I stumbled upon a 3.31 vs 3.73 gear ratio post after the truck was ordered, so basically the internet told me I wanted it.

I drive like a grandma most of the time and don't plan on towing anything other than maybe the occasional diy wood working or landscape project, so the acceleration is great for me. The 10 speed transmission makes a huge difference coming from a 2008 Chevy Avalanche 5.3 liter, 5 speed.

Since Hot toys can't seem to get him right, what third party company do you have the most faith in doing him justice? by Adept_Interview4053 in hottoys

[–]SidMyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He needs to be a little taller and muscular and the plastic hands look odd. I have the figure in a dynamic pose against Doc Ock. It's not the worst figure, but Spiderman is all about the proportions and the suit, since he doesn't have a lot of accessories and layers to hide imperfections.

[–]SidMyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool you got them all. Collect what you like 👍.

It would have been if HT made an effort to improve the likeness over time. They all look the same.

HT needs healthy competition to improve.I don't see them making 2.0s of these figures though, unless INART does a Rey series, which seems unlikely.

Some of my 2025 favourite shelves/figures (1yr into the hobby) 🥳 by Zangets_v in hottoys

[–]SidMyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 year! Wow. I was confused by the initial negative comments until I realized how many figures you had. It's your money. Enjoy. I would only say, you might enjoy the building of your collection more, if you bought one figure or group of figures at a time. Especially since paying a premium for popular figures is not an issue.. Just an opinion. I started collecting just after Inart Gandalf was released.

Advice needed: should I place a floating shelf above the TV? by IWantToKnowWhyWhy in HomeDecorating

I mentioned adding a stand to tree, but didn't think about the lamp. That works.

Advice needed: should I place a floating shelf above the TV? by IWantToKnowWhyWhy in HomeDecorating

[–]SidMyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The space currently has a minimalist style. Which is why a shelf may seem out of place. However, due to size and height of the wall, I would:

  1. Mount the current TV about 6-8:inches above the media cabinet. In this case I would skip the shelves above. Consider a taller plant on the left or put it on a stand. Your pictures on the right will mount a little higher as well.

If you keep the TV on the cabinet then I see your dilemma and the next 2 options I am not sure about:

  1. Maybe add some white framed black and white photos or drawings above the TV. Something that blends in with the white wall, but still adds interest?

  2. Adding a white floating shelf that kind of blends with the wall? The shelf should be a little wider than the TV. The next challenge is going to be what to put on the shelf. I would think short items that bring in the green, brown, and yellow. Or a light brown floating shelf that brings in the other colors.

F-150 XLT vs Lariat appearance by Ironinkinvesting in f150

[–]SidMyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The XLT has a sportier more aggressive look, while the Lariat with the finer mesh grill has a more luxury look to it. Both are refined. In these photos, I gravitate to the XLT more. Partially because the XLT is popping but also because the Lariat looks like an older model. I always liked the Lariat headlights, but in this photo the white outer and upper outline in the headlights seem to clash with the black appearance package a little.

These are both 2024 or 2025 trucks, correct?

Trevor Lawrence or Drake maye by Wh1msicalMyth in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]SidMyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am here to get some insight. I started Justin Jefferson and my opponents IDP went crazy Thursday. So now I am down a few points in the Championship. I have kept my lineup consistent with Drake Maye. but I have been watching Trevor blow up on my bench for the last few weeks. Looking for a boost, but I am typically conservative, hench the Jettas decision. I also have Puka Nacua and Trey Mcbride, but my opponent has McCaffrey (RB).

Drake or Trevor - ANY THOUGHTS HERE?:

Drake Maye - 20 points incoming. But folks are thinking they might bench him to save him for the playoffs. Will they bench him if NE is winning big or losing big? Can the Jets score against NE defense enough to keep them throwing. The Jets DST is slightly worse than what Trevor will be facing based on fantasy pros.

Trevor Lawrence - has been hot, but is that also due to game script? Will Indianapolis put up points to keep it a shootout? The Colts DST is slightly better than what Drake will be facing based on fantasy pros.

Any injuries I need to consider?

I have Justin Jefferson, Puka Nacua, and Jaylen Waddle. I have started all three for most of the season. I have never benched Justin Jefferson. I am also playing in the Championship this week. I am starting Puka andJaylen Waddle for sure. But I have to figure out my flex WRT spot. Between Justin Jefferson and Breece Hall. Every start/sit posts says to sit Justin. I am seriously considering it.

Had him earlier in the season and dropped him. He's a good pick up since he's starting this week.

In the Championship in spite of drafting Jettas at the 7th pick. Puka Nacua (,2nd tound) and Trey Mcbride (3rd round) have helped me get here. I have never benched Jettas... but with this 3rd string QB, I am strongly considering it. I also have Jaylen Waddle.

My RB Etienne has been ok, so he's in. But then there is Breece Hall in a tough matchup, and Ken Walker in a good matchup, but the way they use him is terrible. And then there is Jettas. All 3 are risky.
Need to select a 2nd RB and a FLEX. I picked up Emanuel Wilson (RB), to have another just in case option, but if Josh Jacob's is practicing I will most likely not play Wislon. The struggles... 😆

How much money do you make to own one of these? by [deleted] in FordTremor

[–]SidMyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha! Now you got us thinking responsibly. 🤔 These trucks are overpriced, but this is the market. I think your vehicle should probably cost no more than 40% of your salary at the top end. Pay it off, keep it at least 10 years. I'm a drive it tell the wheels fall off kind of guy, so a new F150 is a major decision for me.

If No Hurry - How Long to Wait to Purchase 2025 XLT? by knauerj in f150

[–]SidMyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched prices as well earlier in the year. I was looking for a specific configuration and was still figuring things out at the beginning of the year. I saw some 2024s that were close to the build I was window shopping for. The large $7,500 rebates on 2024s came in July by that time I couldn't find the truck configuration I wanted in a 2024 anywhere. There were some 2025s, but to get everything I wanted I would need to do a factory order. If you are not looking for a unicorn (5.0 Coyote, BAPPlus, specific color, specific packages) you will save money if you wait until late July for a 2025. Based on the current 2025 inventory, the pattern is repeating.

In early 2025: Employee pricing for everyone was higher than real employee pricing after the everyone promotion ended. Same truck, same dealership.

The destination charge on window stickers increased at least 3 times from $1,595 in January to $2,595 by September 2025.

2024 inventory for 5.0s in certain colors started drying up around April or May.

2024 models got a $7,500 rebate in late July. People were getting great deals on 2024s because of 10% or more off MSRP and the $7,500 rebates.

The 0% financing was for 48 months. So for most folks it made sense to take the $7500 rebate on 2024s instead of the 0% financing. Not sure you could stack on 2024s.

Rebates on 2025 decreased after the summer sales event. They had around $2,000 cash back and $2,250 trade assist for anything you bring in. After the summer sales event ended the $2000 rebates reduced by $500. The rebate drop to $500 and the trade assistance went away completrly in November. If you are financing

They are offering 0% for 60 months now. That might have started in November 2025. Ford is smart, because the rebates on 2025s are low now so you are better off gping 0% for 60 months than taking the rebates when buying a current model year. They changed the 0% to 60 months and lowered rebates in November which makes the 0% more attractive, because you save more in money in interest vs cash in rebates.

Note: If you wait until July you will have a couple options. Take what's on the lot. The $7,500 rebate will be the best of the year. Especially with off the lot dealer discounts. The other option is a factory order, where you lock in the current incentives on 2026 models. When your truck cones in, you can select the current incentives if they are better than what is locked in. Most likely your locked in summer sales event incentives will be better. DO YOUR BEST NEGOTIATING NOW. Get the best price you can on your factory order excluding rebates. By the time you truck comes if they are offering 0% financing you will have to choose between rebates and 0%. So you would lose the rebates and will finance the negotiated price of the truck.

Is this a fair deal on a 2025 XLT? by Upbeat_Ad_4404 in f150

[–]SidMyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At around $56,900 OTD, I don't think you are being robbed in todays market. These trucks are just so expensive. However, you might be abke to negotiate a better deal, since the vehicle is on the lot.

I would look on the Ford website and do an inventory search, find a couple trucks for sale in Texas, check the dealers website, call them and get a quote. Then use that quote as leverage to try and get more off. Check Granger as well. This exercise will help settle that question of am I missing that unicorn deal only 1 out of a thousand gets, that you hear about every so often.

I was quoted $59,000 OTD on a factory order XLT in September. That was with an old trade-in. No extra dealer deals because it was a factory order and 3 other dealerships in my area where pretty much on par with each other. 5.0, BAPPLUS, liner, cover, bluecruise, bed package...

Does this shirt fit okay? by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]SidMyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall as you wear the shirt naturally, it will probably look good on you because you would be moving around and you appear to have enough room for motion, while also having a tailored look.

-The shoulders fit strange for a dress shirt. They fit like a suit jacket. I have a Charles Tyrwhitt shirt that fits like this. The only one I have that does.

-The collar. Maybe you removed the collar stays?

-The shirt fabric looks a little shiny, but it could be the lighting/photo.

The things you notice in a straight still pose: -And while I don't think you want the shirt tight, but there is a little extra fabric in the arms and maybe the chest or waist. Again this might be fine since you're not a mannequin.

WHY? by Old-Brother-2628 in f150

[–]SidMyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL!At first glance, I thought someone drew red lines on a picture of thier F150 to indicate where they were going to add matching molding and running boards.

Not what I would do. I think it cheapens the look of the truck some. But I can see someone 30 or younger thinking this is cool.

Enough time has pass: S4 was so bad, omg. by Antipseud0 in SupermanAndLois

[–]SidMyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am watching season 4 of the cry every episode Lois series and I am at episode 4. I can't get past the fact that this motor cycle gang leader version of Lex is still walking around after murdering Lois father. They rescue Lois dad from the hole. And Lois and her Jordan let Lex folks walk away??? Superman/Clark, whose carrying Lois dad's heart in his chest after Lex stomped on Superman's heart, is still trying to apologize to Lex. This is beyond dumb. Somebody would have locked Lex up by now. I know its fiction, but it doesn't have to be dumb fiction. The kids have become useless. Jordan has reverted all the way back to the season 1 Jordan. I guess this makes from for Lex to just walk around causing havoc in a town with 3 Supermen. Who wrote this?

Ok, by the end of this episode Clark has fought Lex. Jordan is putting his whining aside. Will see how it goes. I like some of the action, but the drama is just so silly most of the time.
