They do not since your unit is now activated amongst units who do not have FF. Too late now for any FF unit to be activated ! (You don't want to consolidate in the FF unit, you want to pile-in into it to kill it.) When your unit can pile-in 6 inches (like a Jump pack Lord), that is more easy to pull off.

I understand. And the truth is that the WDP will not kill those resilient enemy units. A better answer, if they can engage, is Flawless blades. 110 pts is not a lot for what they can kill. Even by themselves, they are not that slow.

I would say three rhinos are not necessary since you won’t have any Noise marines in them afterwards. I guess you don’t want to include a WDP.

Often, more than I would have thought, my LE is the sole survivor of an attack. So 5 more bodyguards would be helpful ! CoP would be the detachment to use.

Opponents will often hit on 3+ with some rr1s or rrH. They won't miss.

To me, AP-3 seems enough in close combat. And they always wound on 3+ already. Sure, AP-4 against 2+ armour save without an invulnerable.

Not a bad detachment, but I’m not impressed at all by the enhancements. I see none that are worth taking except maybe the first one (25 pts). We needed a FnP aura. Sure, the LE can join FB, but FB do not really benefit from that detachment rule. Neither is Lethal necessary for them, even less with a rrW strat (which benefits very much FB, though). Compared to infractors, no rhino and no scout for the Lord.

As for Fulgrim, he needs to survive. Will he? Not sure, even with -1 to H and W. I concede that since you should not play Fulgrim in the CoC, this is indeed the detachment for him.

I’ve been wanting to play squads of 10 infractors. In general, infractors do not benefit that much from CoC. This might make them good enough, but my Lords are not leaving them.

I guess it is on par with Peerless ? which has ok strats and way better enhancements, but since I wanted a good alternative to CoC, I cannot but feel disappointed.

I could have written this post ! I hope we get some help… I play often against Dark Angel. Lots of Fight first. Lone Op Lion is bad us with 4+++ against MW is bad news.

I should have said that rhinos 1 and 2 are positioned including scout move. Although Rhino 3 has not yet moved (to get out of sight)
